Travelopod.com review: Airfares to India

We booked 3 tickets to India for a friend's family 2 days back and were charged exorbitantly for both one - way as well as round-trip tickets by Travelopod.com. Our friends had to visit India to attend to the final rites of their parent and this is what Travelopod did to them — loot them when there is a parent death they are dealing with? They were all charged more than 2 times the price — and that is not at all acceptable and appropriate for the company to misuse the circumstances this way. I sure hope someone from Travelopod will look at this and get back to us — Atleast if humanity exists!

When we called the company asking about these extremely high costs, they have been outright denying the charges although we saw online that the tickets were available at half the price!
