I recently tried out TradeStation and I gotta say, it wasn't anything too crazy. I put some money in and when I wanted to take it out, the folks working there were taking their sweet time. It seems like they're trying to make you wait on purpose or something.
But other than that, the platform itself is pretty decent. It's got all the basic features you'd expect from a trading platform, and it's not too hard to figure out. I didn't really use any of the advanced features, so I can't speak to those.
One thing that did bug me a bit was the fees. They're not outrageous or anything, but they're definitely not the cheapest out there. I guess you're paying for the convenience of having everything in one place.
Overall, I'd say TradeStation is a solid choice if you're looking for a trading platform. Just be prepared to wait a bit if you need to withdraw your funds.

Stay away from this broker. Their fees are ridiculous, mobile application crashes as well as desktop application. Unable to place order sometimes. Closed my account and never again. I made $8905 one day and they charged $8560 for commissions. Go figure
