This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I purchased an HP LaserJet Pro M404N printer from this online company on August 8, 2022 for $327.48. We received it on September 2nd. After opening the box and getting ready to set up the printer, we noticed that the cables were not the correct cables that go with the printer. Luckily, we have the exact same printer in another office so we just unhooked that printer and connected the correct cables to the new printer. The printer would not turn on at all. It was completely dead. Even after resetting the power cable, no life to the computer at all. Of course, you cannot call anyone at Tech INN (a division of Trade INN). You can only set up a chat. They told me in the chat that I have to take it up with HP. I explained to them that it was defective right out of the box and even had the wrong cables included, but they insisted that it was my responsibility to take it up with HP and then contact them. I had to send HP an email (because they too do not have a customer service number for these issues), and HP sent me a Case Number (CRM [protected]) on September 22. However, no one at HP has contacted me nor has there been any follow up emails. I contacted Tech INN on 9/23 to tell them about the case number but they told me I have to wait on HP to contact me. It's October 9th and still no one has contacted me. I've contacted Tech INN (which is interchanged with Trade INN) on September 26th, September 28th, and October 5th to let them know that HP is not responding. However, I keep getting the same robotic answers.

This should be an issue that Trade INN should take care of since they are the ones that sold me the defective printer.

Desired outcome: For Trade INN to take responsibility and send a prepaid return label for the defective printer and then refund my money
