DO NOT BUY A HOME IN CORMANS CROSSING IN COXS CREK, KY THERE CHEAP, FALLING APART AN THE BUILDERS ARE LIERS AN DONTKNOW WHAT THE HELL THERE DOING.AN THE HOA WHAT A JOKE, THEY TAKE OUR MONEY AN LINE THERE POCKETS WITH IT, IT SURE ISNT SPENT ON OUR SUBD. THE HOMES, LEAK, DRYWALL COMES OFF, TRY PAINTING INSIDE MAYBE AFTER 100 COATS IT'LL TAKE, THE PLUMBING A CHILD COULD DO BETTER, PLUGS SHOOT SPARKS, GROUNDED PLUGS, YOU WONT GET SHOCKED CAUSE THEY DONT WORK AT ALL.HAD MINE REMOVED, ROOFS LOOK LIKE A 1ST GRADER DID THEM WITH HIS FEET, BASEMENT WELL JUST SAY EVERYTIME IT RAINS, GRAB A MOP AN BUCKET AN A LIFEBOAT, THE YARDS FLOOD, OVER 80 MAYBE MORE HOMES PEOPLE HAVE MOVED OUT 1 HAS SOLD 7 TIMES IN THE 3 YEARS IVE BEEN HERE, OUTSIDE WALLS IN THEBRICK HAS RPAIRED CRACKS IN THEM THAT LOOKS SHOTTY TO SAY THE LEASE, MY NEIBORGERS WINDOW FELL INTO HIS HOUSE THE SEALS ARE CRACKING AN THE WINDOWS ARE LOSE THSES ARE $140K-$200K HOMES, TOMMY DOWNS OF BARDSTOWN, KENTUCKY IS THE BUILDER AN THE CROOK THAT RUNS WELL STEALS THE HOA FEES IS HARLOD WIMMSET OF THE SAME TOWN AN STATE.DONT BUY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE ALOT OF MONEY, AN A BOAT.
THANK YOU, SOMEONE THAT AGREES WITH ME, I WAS TOLD WHEN I ASKED TO SEE HOW THE HOA FEES ARE USED, BY HAROLD WIMSET [BIG CROOK] SAID $5, 000.00 WASUSED TO LANDSCAPR BOTH ENTRYS TO THIS SWAMP LAND.GUESS THE OTHER $50, 000+ GOES IN THERE POCKETS.

I agree! Copperfields is the same way! We have $100.00 HOA fees and they "say" they go to mowing and grounds upkeep. The playgrounds in the subdivision are so run-down and broke that I wont even take my kids up there! We supposedly pay for mowing and everything but the house across from us is still unfinished and hasn't been mowed since we moved in going on 2 years now! It's ridiculous! I would LOVE to get hold of these builders and ask where our money is really going because it sure isn't going to what they say it is. We were building a building behind our house and I called Tom Downs looking to see if he could give me some clue as to where the property lines were and he told me that I needed to hire a surveyor because that wasn't his job and he was going to waste his time coming out there. The house across from us that I was talking about earlier looks like a run down mess! Our wall in the master bedroom cracked by the door frame not even a year after we moved in! These builders are building house as cheap as they can and trying to turn them for profit! It's ridiculous!
Yes these builders are a JOKE! If you ask them anything pertaining to your property or the subdivision they give you smart butt answer. But boy when your there signing those hefty loan papers they kiss your butt, but it is nothing but LIES! H.OA. fees, what a JOKE... i believe we are paying for his empty lots to be mowed! No WAY does it cost 5, 000.00 to mow 2 small areas. WHERE ARE THE STREET LIGHTS? WHAT ABOUT THE SECURITY OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD? WHAT ABOUT SPEEDERS------IM SICK OF IT! One day someone will get killed walking in this neighborhood!WHAT A SHAME THIS NEIGHBORHOOD IS!
I couldn't agree with you more. I have lived here for 3 years now and have never in my life been more disgusted at such an unskilled group of laborers that claim to be "homebuilders." I wish I would have listened to complaints months before I purchased out here but was overcome with the excitement of buying my own home. It's not just Downs that lacks competency in building homes, you must include Riggs and Hurst as well. "All homes come with a 1 year warranty." - What a joke, after you buy it, good luck EVER getting one of these guys back to address your growing list of problems with the house. The HOA as you stated, is a complete joke. They basically chase after whomever they feel like on any given day never addressing real issues. I have full intentions of moving out of the neighborhood within the next 3 years and am more than willing to take a loss on the property I've purchased just to get away from the BS that floats around here. Bottom line people, if you are considering a house in Cormans Crossing, DO NOT waste the time, effort or money here. This is truly a set of amateur contractors, NOT homebuilders. NOT 1 aspect of the homebuilding process is completed by these so called "builders". They are contractors and with that said, give work to the lowest bidder, which often leads to shoddy work!
