Strangely, as of 2022 June 25th, when I enter the lottery for Shakespeare in the park, I get an email stating that I entered, but never get an email that tells me the result. While I always expect that I didn't get it, I am not going to wait for three hours to get my results. So much for TodayTix

I am not satisfied. When I purchased through ***, I chose the date, time, and seats for a show. Immediately after making the payment, I received an email confirmation without seat numbers. The TicketTx email confirmation arrived almost a week later and still did not include seat numbers. I don't think I received a discounted fee. I will only receive the seat numbers 12 hours before the show, which is extremely unreasonable. There is also no information on how to collect the tickets. I will not use this service again unless I receive a satisfactory response.

I accidentally purchased tickets to the wrong musical in ***. I actually wanted to see the *** show. I contacted TodayTix through email to inform them of my mistake. They provided me with a voucher, but unfortunately, it doesn't work. I attempted to use it before the expiration date, but I kept receiving an error message stating that the voucher was invalid or expired. I reached out to TodayTix again and received the following response:

The problem is that the reason I requested the exchange voucher in the first place was because the show I wanted to see is in ***, not ***. Therefore, it cannot be the same show since the *** musical in *** was not available on their website. I even tried using the voucher for another show on the site, but it still didn't work. I need help. Vee.

When I was trying to buy tickets for a Broadway show, I accidentally clicked on an advertisement for a ticketing company that turned out to be illegitimate. I bought my tickets from this company called TodayTix at a higher price than the official Broadway ticketing platforms. I was able to choose the section I wanted, but in the confirmation email, I found out that I wouldn't receive the tickets or seats until up to 2 hours before the show. After this happened, I realized that the person I was planning to give these tickets to for Christmas already had plans on that date. I asked for an exchange to a different date, but all they could offer was to send the tickets to a friend or family member a few hours before the show. This cost me almost $400, including a $50 surcharge per ticket. I contacted them multiple times, but they stopped responding to my emails. They don't have a working phone number either. They claim that my tickets have already been purchased, but I can't have them until the day of the show, which makes it impossible for me to resell them to anyone I know. So now, nobody can use the seats, and I'm out $400 that I can't afford. I also can't even buy a new gift for this person. I believe the company is lying to me about having my tickets, and they won't explain why the high surcharge has disappeared from their website. I've never been so disappointed with a business, and it's not only a problem for me but also for the performers who will be performing to an empty theater.

I purchased tickets through todaytix app to a Broadway show of West Side Story for April ***. Because of the corona virus broadway is shut down. Todaytix offered me a voucher but I want a full refund

Purchased a ticket yesterday for the same day to Waitress. I realize afterwards the date was for today Monday Nov 15, which I cant make due to a conflicting medical appointment. I could not get anyone on the phone and wrote them Immediately. Still have not gotten a response and have included confirmation they received my request. The problem should have been solved by a simple exchange. But they are taking advantage of the pandemic to create policies unfair to customers

On May 23rd I paid for a virtual show. Alex N show for June 6th. I sent an email on the 6th saying I had not received the link to the show. After the 6th they said they sent a link which was too late for the show. I kept sending emails requesting a refund. Now this is where it gets weird. They said I did not give them my correct email address. I know that is not true because I saw a virtual show with them in the past and also I constantly get promotions from them via email. The cost for the show is $25.00. I would like a refund .

I have contacted Todaytix to resolve an issue regarding a cancellation of the show "The Lehman Brothers" on April *** in NYC. The show was cancelled due to corona virus outbreak and the company became aware this fact on March . It took me several emails to finally reach an agent who finally told me that I cannot get a refund until the company issues a "Premium Voucher". After the company issues a voucher, I have to email them within 10 days to receive a refund instead of the voucher. Finally, on April *** Todaytix issued a voucher, after 3-4 emails back and forth. Well, after that I sent 3(!) emails asking for a refund instead of this voucher and I got no response. They are just ignoring my emails. Buyer beware! They are in the business of stealing customer's money.

Our order *** was canceled today due to "We regret to inform you that the performance unexpectedly sold out of availability in your desired section and price point. Please check the TodayTix app or website for updated availability. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to welcoming you to the theater soon." Our tickets were 100% Authentic and Guaranteed as quotes in an email from the vendor. "All tickets purchased from TodayTix are 100% authentic and guaranteed. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges." The TodayTix Terms of Service also state: "In the extremely rare event that we cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you within three business hours." We were notified of the inability to fulfill our order 104 business hours past our order time which is a violation of the Terms of Service and the "100% Authentic and Guaranteed" claim on our tickets was not true. Please update terms of service and remove invalid guarantees.

Hi ComplaintsBoard.com, my husband and I purchased tickets to go see 2 Broadway shows (order *** and ***) with our families. Amidst the global pandemic and how the situation is evolving in the tri state area in the last few days, which saw cases rising at a very high rate we do not feel comfortable attending this performance. One of these performances (Moulin Rouge) had to cancel their show yesterday and today due to a positive covid case in the company! There are thousands of positive cases popping up everyday and the chance that an asymptomatic person is at the show is just too high at this moment. I cannot afford my family getting sick, and it's defiantly not worth the risk to go see a show in the current situation.We reached out to today tix asking for a refund and we were told to try and resell out tickets to friends willing to go see the show. Covid is no joke and with elderly family members coming with us to see the show the risk is just too high. We are asking a full refund as a voucher would just simply postpone something that is out of everyone's control.

Purchased 2 tickets to a show through todaytix, got a confirmation email, and after a few seconds got another confirmation email. Didnt pay attention as I believed it refers to the same order. Only after seeing on the credit card that I was charged twice by them, I wrote them and they answered that I made two separate (but identical) orders. Which is not true at all - there is no way I could have placed another order in less than one minute (the time difference between the two confirmation emails). Only the processing time is longer and Ill have to choose the show, the day, the sitting area, my information.. its impossible for me to do so, also why would I? The two orders where completely identical.. obviously a technical mistake of some sort.Todaytix keeps claiming Ive made two separate orders and at some point stopped answering my emails.. didnt explain to me how it would be possible for me to place two orders is such a short amount of time.Also second email with confirmation number far less visible than the first! Didnt even realize in real time its a different order.The credit card used is foreign and I cant dispute.Each order was in the amount of *** dollars and I would like a refund in this amount.
