I went into Today Salon about the last 30 minutes of my mother's hair dye session on Saturday, 13 May 2023, to wait for my mother. A China man who is supposedly the boss of the shop, started using his tactics to persuade me into buying some hair loss tonic or signing up for some hair loss package with them. I constantly voiced out to him that I was not interested in what he was promoting to me. I even asked him to Stop talking to me about it several times. However, he incessantly tried to talk me through to doing some form of purchase with them and that really annoyed me. In reaction to my annoyance at him, he began to sound even more curt, bolder and ruder than before. He raised his voice whenever I showed my reluctance to listen on to him. He even threw down his cert (printed in Chinese) onto the countertop right in front of me to prove that he was certified in some field to do with hair services, which I was really not interested in as well. This is the worst hair salon I've ever been to. I really detest such hair salons that are out to squeeze the pockets of consumers without much sincerity in their acts for these consumers. My advice to all is to look for other better salons out there.

What was the outcome? I still was asked to top up for the hair dye session which was $26 on top of the remaining amount in the package I had bought for my mother. So much for being treated rudely by the boss. His wife only gave me a discount of $1 so I still had to pay $25.

The experience with the boss was so bad that I had wanted to call the police. However, I didn't as I pitied his wife. I thought she was putting in a lot of effort to tell him to stop his rudeness towards me. I really was infuriated with the boss' sickening attitude and behaviour. He should know better as to respect his customers' decisions.

Desired outcome: I would just like to share my horrible experience with all hair services consumers.

Yes agreed. Poor service and bad attitude. Twist and turn their words after u sign for the package. And cheating ppl to sign up package, better don’t fall into trap if not u will be regret. When u say u want to use up the package and top up the bal they don’t allow and say this and that, it’s untrustworthy shop better don’t sign. Never keep their words and their hair colors are very bad and not lasting at all. For gray hair coverage can at least last up to 2-3 weeks before coming out but theirs only can last 3 days and gray hair comes out.
