Save your $2, 000. TAI was little help once I gave them my money. I was constantly being switched over to different people to handle my case. I have had no contact from the TAI attorney in months.
Best advice I can give is don't buy a timeshare anyplace. The timeshare people (RCI and Interval) are all a bunch of crooks and liars.

Valerie I totally agree. I have every letter and email sent by TIA. Don O'Keefe is the last person to send me anything stating that he is now handling my case. I did find Mr. Don O'Keefe at email don@timeshareaide.com and number [protected]. I have left a couple of messages and sent one email to which he has not responded.

I think I just got scammed twice!
It's been a year and a half and I keep getting switched to different people. They had originally lost my case, and only found me because I emailed them a lot. The guy (Don O'Keefe) I was working with now his email, phone number and company contact no longer work. I never got out of my timeshare and my credit went from great to bad, it's on my credit for life. Worst experience ever! They're website doesn't even exist anymore. If you have contact info on these people, please let me know! $3, 500 down the drain!

I am in the sales process with TAI, and I agree the upfront payment is a bit warying. I offered to put the funds into an escrow account upfront, to prove that I have the money, and to protect us both from frauding each other. I was flat out denied, and then told, in no uncertain terms, that I deserve my situation for not just trusting them. Basically, the exact same type of high-pressure, trickster mentality that they CLAIM to be against. I am glad I read this board before meeting with them. Thank you all.

I believe it is very understandable for timeshare owners to be concerned that they're about to be ripped off again. I don't want to criticize people I don't know, but if TAI is confident that they can terminate a time-share contract, it seems logical that they would not have to require money up front. At least not directly. I know TAI could be worried that they could do the work for someone and not get paid afterward just like a time-share owner could be worried that he or she would pay for a service that didn't solve their problem. The solution to this situation could be an escrow service which could hold the money and refund it to the timeshare owner if the work wasn't successful within a certain amount of time ... or pay it to TAI right after the timeshare would be terminated one way or another.

AngryTSO, TAI is not Help4TSO! My name is Sean Austin and I am the owner of TAI and Bill Howell is the owner of Help4TSO. Get your facts straight before you spout out information that is totally false! TAI is out of Mt. Juliet, TN and is registered with the BBB and the AG's office. Help4TSO is out of Orlando, FL. You can go to Sunbiz which is the FL AG site to verify that Bill Howell is the owner of Help4TSO.

I have asked both of these complainants to send me their information so I can personally look into their cases. Every client is important to me and our organization.

I totally agree with you. I am having the same experience. I am totally frustrated with TAI and they have given me zero proof that they are even working on my case. How do I really know if they are truly working on my case? If you have more than a 92% success rate with cancelling previous timeshare contracts with my timeshare company then why can’t you prove it to me when I ask you to? And, why isn’t mine cancelled yet? They just ignore you. It is a very unprofessional organization and I’m truly disappointed. It’s a waste of $2, 500.
