This is a terrible scam perpetrated on Facebook, Text and Email. In facebook I was asked to join The Hippie Giveaway Group by a "friend" and I did. It is all peace, love and tie die. I was very suspicious so I followed all the directions "exactlty as follows to win a Tie dye T-shirt". I was directed to sign up on FB and then on Email and then on Text Message. I was then asked to invite 10-20 Friends to the group. I was then sent a Text stating that every Monday was drawing day and that was also the day to pay $9.95 for S&H. (whether I won or not) The message went on to say that I should join in the challenges presented by the other Admin. who on FB profile doesn't seem to really exist. the profile was ghosty. Those "challenges" were to Buy Tie Dye Sets and Invite New people to the group.

I tried to report the group to FB but the algorithm sees this as Okay.

Definitely not a scam. I'm sorry you felt that it was. I've gotten over 30 shirts from them and even won member of the month for June an indeed get a custom shirt like it says. You can go to the group an see for yourself. Michael Dulaney is real and is quite active. His personal profile is private from those he doesn't know. As for the giveaways, they're not every Monday. He has many ways to get a free shirt without paying the shipping with some of the other contests he has. Questions of the day he picks 5 winners. They are picked randomly by a generator app. Hope this helps you understand better that the page is definitely not a scam
