The duke subcontractor (sorry, don't know that company name) something like eslu or something it was 4 letters on the trucks (I guess you could contact duke energy to find out the co.'s exact name) came in my yard, that was level, smooth & in good condition. They was replacing poles, 1 in my front yard at road & 1 in a field beside house (it's the last pole on this line). They was here off & on for nearly 3 weeks, driving several heavy trucks everytime. They came in my house driveway, upper driveway, & even crossed the road ditch a couple times. When I confronted the on job supervisor, he assured me that they would fix my yard back the way it was. When finally done, they came back & tamped down a few of the high areas then throwed out grass seed & spread straw on it. I wasn't here part of the time & didn't see at the time some of this done. I 1st decided to fix the mess myself. I raked off the straw, got a load of dirt (bought) & began to fill in the ruts. After lot of work filling some, I wasn't getting anywhere & no where near done. I called duke & they sent me to the subcontractor that done the damage. A man from the co. Came out & said "they seeded & strawed it" & they "couldn't afford" to fix it right, cause they done paid out money to do the total job. Landscapers said the only way to fix it right was to dump dirt & use a landscape rake behind a tractor to smooth it. The subcontractor man that came out (I wasn't around) called me & said they were done & closing the claim case.

Claimed loss: Don't really know a (price) loss, but it's lots of damage.

Desired outcome: I would like my yard fixed back the way it was, either by me or a landscaper, FOR SURE "NOT" THE SUBCONTRACTOR ! Would like to be paid the money amount to do the job RIGHT !
