I have witnessed a friend's brainwashing by the cult-like organization, Team National. The people who have collectively use deceptive tactics and smoke-in -mirrors approach to selling a "non-service, non-product" membership. NOTE: Anyone here on a "complaints" board who touts the virtues of TN is either working for TN or being paid by them. Why go to a complaints board and post positive comments? Think about it, people. It's legit alright. A legitimate scam. Ponzi scheme, affinity scam, pyramid. It fits the definition of all. Expect to get nothing back from your hard-earned money. Pay attention to "complaints" on a complaint board. Disregard everything else if you aren't completely gullible. If you're gullible, you'll want to go to your web browser and sign type in their web address. You'll be on your way to "Heavens Gate" cult membership in no time.

TEAM NATIONAL offers no PRODUCTS, no SERVICES, their primary goal is to keep signing up new members! It's a BIG JOKE!

I disagree, I think that you may have talked with someone who misrepresented the opportunity but that doesn't make the company bad. I do agree that nothing that provides financial benefits comes without work... You just have to decide if you are willing to actually work for it? Its not easy or effortless... nothing is! You are most likely working now for someone else - contributing to their dreams and making them more money than they are paying you. How's that working for you? If it's not then you have to go into business for yourself to change that. Direct selling or MLM is one avenue to do that... but it's not going to happen by itself, no one is going to do it for you and it wont come without sacrifice. If someone tells you that - they are lying about the opportunity. Don't judge a company by that person. We were told straight up front that this can be very lucrative if you work hard, put in the time and help other people do the same... The savings with the company are more than you could get on your own... Similar to the idea of a sams or Costco - its smart business not a scam! If you sat down and added up all the annual memberships to Sams, Costco etc that you have I'm pretty sure it would all add up about the after a few years - only with this Team National you have WAY MORE choices to shop from and they pay you to tell others. Sam's has never paid me a penny to tell my neighbor they were a great place to shop!

Use your brain, pick the right team and work hard! It's not rocket science, but it is a legit business that takes an investment and your time!

I was approached by "Dare Not Say The Name" (Team National). Here's a big red flag: They come at you with "This takes NO effort to make BIG money. All you have to do is give us $2100, and sign up two people. You've already made money! And the checks will keep rolling in! And you can save money on products you already use!"
Fast forward after purchase and the choir changes:
"Obviously you can't make money without putting some work into it. You must be lazy. Or, better yet, CRAZY to think you can just sit back and make money without putting in any effort. You need to "work the system" and "work the upline/downline". Did you attend meetings? Did you listen to the DVDs? Did you sign up more people (more than 2)? If not, how can you expect to make money!?"
MLM is just another word for Pyramid Scheme. And the double talk after the purchase proves they also add insult to injury.

I love how you can say anything without risk of being sued for libel.
I would love to hear about the successful business youve built with pizza boxes in your m your moms basement! Probably selling weed to 12 year olds! Wow! Doesn't feel good does it! Get your facts straight!

Selling weed to 12 years old would be a vast improvement over Team National's pyramid scheme.

This person puts no effort and no work into taking advantage of others and getting rich off their efforts. I don't doubt that it is a good business tactic but for whom? The person that bought a membership has to scam more people just to break even, so it is not good for him/her. The person purchasing the membership, not good for them either cause they have to scam others to get their money back. The savings you get it is just part of the scam ... they want to look legit... they want to give you the appearance they are giving you something, so you get this feeling that you come out ahead without ever selling a single membership. This is all a facade. They want you to buy a membership and they already know you won't break even from the savings on purchases. Even if you could, there are other companies where you don't have to spend $2200 for savings .. Let's get real, this is all about selling memberships and has little to do with product savings.

After you purchase this I have some swamp land down in Florida I'd like to sell you!

Right on. Selling swamp land in Florida would be a huge step up from Team National.

Evidently, this person put no effort in and expected to get rich. its a shame when people who are unsuccessful in a business feel they must make up lies to degrade it.

One the classic MLM/pyramid scheme comebacks: "You are lazy and not working hard enough"
