I received several calls from this company stating that they could help with my IRS past tax debt problem but that I was close to missing the deadline for the "Biden Tax debt relief program". I called them on Nov. 3 to discuss my issue. They needed $*** up front to "open a file" for me, which I did not have, so they amazingly found a lender that agreed to lend me the money that minute. This lender was United Consumer Financial Services out of Louisville, KY. While still on the phone, I digitally signed several documents they sent without really reading them because I was afraid I would miss the program deadline! After that first call, I received a call the next day to talk with an "IRS" advocate. He said we made a three way call with the IRS, but who can be sure now? They asked me to give the IRS permission to talk with them about my debt since they now represented me. They said they would file my back taxes and make an arrangement with the IRS to eliminate all of my past debt ($***). Two days later they called and said I needed $*** to pay off my taxes. They told me that was what the IRS had agreed to. I was thrilled to say the least. Obviously, I didn't have the money, so within minutes I had offers from about five different lenders in my email. I applied to one of them and was denied. I told them I wanted a day or so to look at my options and they kept pestering me to try the next lender. I spoke with a *** who was their "financial assistant" repeatedly. He assured me the $*** was my only option or I would owe the $*** immediately. Since there isn't enough room to type all of my information, I will end by saying this was a scam and they did not make any arrangements with the IRS on my behalf. I had my attorney look over everything and was advised NOT to pay the $*** loan unless the Tax advocate group sends it back. I tried to contact the United Consumer Financial company but got a message saying the office was "closed" .

The end of Feb 2020, I contacted Tax Advocate Group, referencing a State Income Tax Audit, that said I owed over *** in back taxes. They also required me to use their high interest loan agency. I filled out the paperwork they sent me, and returned it with in a couple of days. It took a while, but we finally got on the phone with the State of . At the end of the call, Tax Advocate was to send the forms to the state. More than a month past, and I continued to receive notices from . Including different notices then the original notification. It took a couple of weeks, but I was finally able to get a hold of someone at the agency. One of the lawyers I spoke with, kept talking about getting relief from Federal taxes. I told him, I wasn't contacting his company about Federal Taxes, I had an issue with State Taxes. He said "I don't care!" I finally got a hold of ***, the first person I spoke to at the company, and he told me not to worry about the notifications, it was part of the total dollar amount that Tax Advocate Group was working with *** on.. Then my salary was garnished for the $. I tried numerous times, before I finally got ahold of someone at Tax Advocate Group. They contacted *** State, with me on the phone, and *** said they could not process the request for forgiveness of all or a portion of the debt, or even a manageable payment schedule, because they never received the forms. They received blank sheets. They said they tried to call the sender back, with no reply, and they tried to fax back a letter to the same fax used to send it, and also never received a reply. As a result, they took the max amount authorized. Which nearly cost me my house. I had the get my mortgage company to move a couple of months to the end of the mortgage. Now I have just received another garnishment. This time for over ***. I just finished paying the last one. At a minimum, I believe Tax Advocate Group should refund the $*** plus interest on their high interest loan

I called the Tax Advocate group on 10/19 to see if they can help me with my tax issue. I spoke to *** and he quoted me a price of ***. I was approved for a loan through their 3rd party lender. During the conversation with *** he stated that if you choose not to do business with us you can cancel at any time. *** then transferred me to Will Gardner and then they said they needed to do more services and it was going to cost a lot more than what *** told me. I told Will that I needed to think about it and I can't afford that. The price suddenly changed and that's when things began not to feel right about doing business with them. I told them to let me think about it. 10/22 I spoke to Will again expressing that I don't want to continue with this process. He transfered me to another representative and they tried to convince me to continue on with the process and I told him no and then that guy said he will send an email to cancel it. Then I received another call from Greg Allen and he tried to convince me to still continue on with the process but it was more of an intimidating way. He kept cutting me in the middle of my sentences and then he said they will just cancel out the contract since it's in the grace period still. Today 10/25 no one is answering my calls except *** and now he is giving me the run around. He gave me a phone number to the resolution team *** and they said they will put me through to the billing team and it will be 5 to 10 minutes. 45 minutes later they have had me on me hold and they are giving me the run around as well. I am feeling now they are trying to scam me out of my money and are not trying to help me at all. I just my loan to be Fully canceled for the full amount. I tried contacting the Loan company numerous times as well they the Tax Advocate Group would have to tell them to cancel out the loan and they have not. Tax Advocate Group/National Tax Experts are the same company. The owner/head person/the man a person first talks to, who scams people out of *** of dollars by lying about the work needed & then says it's very complicated & will require a lot of work so I have to charge you $***.*** is Not this person I talked to. He's 77y/o & lives in ***. *** is actually the man i talked to first & is *** son. I've done my research & no where is ***. *** name associated with these 2 tax businesses. He doesn't have a license/certificate/degree to do taxes. No business license either. Their national tax experts business is on ***. I don't think it's eXists. Bad reviews do RESEARCH Complaintsboard.com! Read the ones that say exactly what happened to me. I have tax issues I need a QUALIFIED professional to help me with. I called the IRS & State. I hired this tax company last September & I contacted them with a state tax issue, which they have not done one thing about. The IRS I was put into a 53 status, which is currently a non collectible status. That is a form that gets filed out & turned in to IRS. That's the huge amount of work that *** said was needed & I had to pay $*** for. In September I gave *** $***, then *** had me get a loan with HIS loan company of $*** & then took payments out of my bank account monthly for $*** for 4 months. I called several tax companies & they said to fill out the form for non collectible status they charge $100-$200. Not hard to do. I have NOT gotten any paperwork. I NEED for my records. I gave *** $*** total. I want $*** back. They were paid $200 for form filed out. *** said 53 status program would wipe out $*** of taxes. HE'S VERY WRONG PER IRS. This lair is causing HARM to public.

I paid this company $22,500 to represent *** in back taxes in August Case No. XXXXX - Statement of Work to be performed by Tax Group Advocate Appointed legal counsel and legal appearance on our behalf Mandatory 5 year case and power of attorney monitoring Finalizing and supporting tax analysis, research and discovery Required resolution processing and filing fees Appeals specialist representation and consultation fees Telephonic settlement officer conference fees surcharges and surtax fees submission for best case resolution per attorney staff advisement: OIC or CNC durable hardship S-Corp election for existing LLC - Anaylysis/tax planning including advisement of payroll services setup. Tax preparation(corporate and personal including 5 year case monitoring period. Client agrees to work with *** to ensure tax returns are file d on time and tax responsibilities are paid. So far, these are the things that they have promissed to resolve and monitor however since they have not communicated with me for over 2 months, no response to any emails I sent to the tax attorney on staff and other members, I have no idea what stage if anything my particular case is at - no status update, no word, I feel like once they took the money, they were silent. I have since sent them any letters that I've received from both the IRS and State of Hawaii demanding money of which I have had no response from Tax Advantage Group at all. I have sent them the payroll documentation for the last 6 weeks of payroll done by payroll services with taxes paid and still no response from this company at all. I have sent them updates and still no response - silent Did they just take the money then drop us like a hot potatoe? What kind of business does not respond to their clients for 2 months after receiving numerous documentation and numerous emails? I would appreciate any help you can give me to either have them give us a satisfactory update of any kind, or return our $22,500.00 of which I had to borrow $10,000.00 from one of their lenders to pay them.
