My family purchased a wedding video for me for a wedding gift from Tane Finley. He was to be with us all day videotaping the wedding and then make a video of the day for us. It seems easy enough! After waiting two months I e-mailed him asking if he was finished with our wedding video he gave me an excuse and told me it would have to be another month. After that month went by, I emailed him again and he promised it would be sent out. I did get the raw footage in the mail with a business card that my video would be done in 4-8 more weeks and could I be patient. I waited the 8 weeks and emailed him and he told me he was having computer issues. I called him finally and he promised me the video would be done in 2 weeks. Now it is another month later and there is a new excuse every day. He has now told me that I am not suppose to have my raw footage and he was the one who mailed it to me, and if I wanted my edited wedding video that I could hire him this week for an additional 500 dollars and if I waited it would be 1000 dollars. I have received emails from him telling me I am ungrateful of my wedding gift, but I haven't even received it. It is very sad and I hope that no one else falls for his scam!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I had a very similar experience, as did my sister-in-law with Tane. He was very quick to get us our photos (though not so quick with my SIL), but it took a year to get us our video. A year... Actually, I was so exasperated when he left a mesage that our video was done that I didn't pick it up. The whole thing just stressed me out so much. I just couldn't handle it if it wasn't a great video, and I could be pretty sure that was the case (the camera was behind my head the entire time, enough said). My SIL gave up and just got the raw footage from him since her husband does video work, and they cleaned it up themselves. I actually thought she wrote the first review, but the name didn't match up, but I guess I'm not too surprised that it happened to more than one person. I WILL say however that the photos were of really decent quality and while he maybe didn't listen to our preferences very carefully, I was happy enough with the pictures at the end after I did some photo editing and sorting. We paid 600 bucks and I feel like we got what we paid for. If I could do it again, I would probably go with a more established individual and pay a little more.

i have already paid this guy 250 bucks and now i just seen this and hope he shows up for pictures for my wedding i am so terrified i could just die i hope to god he didnt scam us as we have no more money for our wedding i think i could just die

Why does the contract say it was paid in full? Why would you send me millions of e-mails with excuses on why it wasn't finished? Your the biggest liar! NO ONE USE HIS SERVICES!
I know, thank you! O by way... Raw footage is not in the contract, nor was anything about editing. Did she see the contract? I give them raw video and this is how you thank me? I tried to talk it out and I was real nice. The raw footage is copy written original material and they have no permission to keep it from me, only sample it. Slander & defamation of character is how low this bride used my private facebook page to make falls statements. $500 is all they paid. Why don't they hire me to do the work they are asking for first? Call me anytime [protected] if you need to see the contract to see why they are asking for more of something no one even paid for. Raw footage was not in the contract nor was anything about editing. Did they see the contract? I give them the raw video and this is how they thank me? I can edited it's $500 on top of filming cost on the wedding day.
This couple was bought a gift by a sister, of wedding video that was never paid for in full. The couple has the raw footage and is awaiting the edited video upon payment.
