Surf or Sound Realty review: Terrible customer service

We had rented a house in Avon for Sept 26Th 2026, through October 3rd, the NorEaster storm destroyed NC12 Thursday the 24Th I believe and remain closed til the following Thursday leaving no access to Avon, on Friday the 25TH we rented a house on Nags Head so we could have a family vacation. we contacted you all about a refund and was told we could not get one because the road doesnt count as inaccessible to house, we were the house was fully accessible because storm didn't damage it, please explain to me how it was accessible when the road was closed and ferry's were also down, we had all intentions of coming to that property and enjoying our vacation but I will never ever rent or tell people to use your company again. I wonder if you charged the people that were in there the week before us extra since they couldn' t leave either. that is terrible business practice and B.S.
