I bought dog from Scott Lathrop as well. I never contacted him about my issues because I knew I would not get refund. His health guarantee didn't cover issues my dog had I didn't know that because we never discussed it I later saw on his website. I took my lose. I came across this and wanted others to know my experience also so others wouldn't have of through it. I would never get dog from him or refer anyone to him. My dog came with parasites and at age of 6 months old he had hair loss so took him to vet. They did some scrapping of skin and he had Demodectic Mange. My dog went through treatments, injections and none of it worked. It got so bad we had to put him to sleep. I took huge lose and my heart broken. All for bad breeding. I educated myself and found that it's passed through off springs it's genetic and breeder shouldn't breed dogs that have this mange or some pups will get it too. Doing more research because of anger I felt I also noticed all these websites carry and sale same dogs? How is that possible if he told me the dog lived in his home? Red flags to me. Here is websites and numbers of what I found out. It's up to you be smart and do research.

What I also noticed suburbanbullies.com, sumobullodgs.com, iconbulldogs.com, imported bulldogs tel:[protected] look their number up same dogs and puppies. All these dogs are also on puppy find through these different sellers selling same dog.

An import broker will always have a puppy available, because if they don't have one currently 'in stock', they are sure to have a contact overseas who can get them one almost immediately. Be prepared to wait for a quality puppy, whether from a North American or a European breeder. Be wary of anyone who claims they 'always' have dogs available. Ask questions, go with your gut.

Scott Lathrop- Suburbanbullies, I am neutral to these allegations for now, but have been researching Euro Lines from Lemon Vom. I am buying a puppy with this pedigree from a reputable breeder, but… will I have tainted lines in the front???. What concerns me is this……. ***Sumo Bulldogs, ***Suburban Bullies and ***Icon Bulldogs….., ********do we have to be concerned that any of you are importing or dealing with Puppy Mills ??? Please answer this because if you are, your reputations will never be able to be repaired. Anyone that Loves this fabulous breed, the English Bulldog will not overlook it…, ever……………………………………..*
Please answer as to why someone has attached the ***Hunte Corporation***name to a puppy you sold or your Kennel name. I want to know.******** As for the complaints about worms and demodex mange, people…, Wake Up and calm down. Both are very common in puppies. No, I don't like internal parasites/worms but guess what? That is not a reason to freak out and ruin someones reputation. All puppies have to be de-wormed many times and thru out their entire lives. Demodex Mange can appear for many, many reasons. It is a Mite that lives on ALL dogs and sometimes does not stay in control with the puppies' immune system. This has to be treated and IS treatable. Now, …….. if these internal and external parasites are caused by over crowding, stress, lack of care in "Puppy Mill" breeding, that's a Whole Different Story… I for one would like an answer to the accusation concerning ***Hunte Corporation*** and why these 3 Kennels are somehow linked?. Maybe if this is answered, a whole lot of questions can be cleared up. Thank you. ECJ p.s. I'm also posting this on Suburbanbullies [redacted] thread, in hopes of getting answers that the Bulldog community deserves.

Buying dogs for big money these days is risky business almost no matter what you do. It is difficult to ascertain who is a reputable breeder and actually knows what they are doing. A lot of people have gotten into breeding dogs because its big money with relatively little toil, small outlay of money and more then enough sucker customers with wide open wallets, who know little about dog breeds but think that if the price is high it must be a good dog. Add to that. internet selling, "we'll send it to ya" stuff which is one of the most idiotic things you can do. If you cannot get up off your duff and go personally to the breeder (who you have thoroughly researched), then skip it - or if you insist on plopping down $1500, then just send the money to me. I promise ya, no vet bills.
