Southern Mattress Outlet review: Awful experience

My husband and I were in an automobile accident and my back was injured. Our chiropractor told us we should look into foam mattresses so we did. We went to Southern Mattress Outlet three different days to check them out. We found one that was very comfortable. We lay side by side for 20 min. to make sure I wouldn't roll into him. He weighs a good bit more than I do and I end up rolling into him. This mattress did not move. I couldn't even tell my husband was on this mattress with me at all.

We asked about the warranty and everything sounded good so we purchased the mattress. They brought it out the next day and when we got it set up, I was shocked that I rolled right into my husband. I called and told the guy that this was the wrong mattress and he told me that it was the one I purchased. I told him it looked like it but it was soft and not firm. I wanted my money back if he couldn't give me the set I tried out. He said he couldn't do anything because they brought me the one I wanted. He said they couldn't give refunds. I told him to give me the one in the showroom and he said he would get in trouble with his boss.

This company is a rip-off and I'm very upset. I have to pull myself out of bed bed because this mattress sinks down and my husband sinks down further than I do so I feel like I am in quicksand. My back, hips, legs and arms hurt all of the time. I do not sleep all night because it's so uncomfortable.

I paid $1658.50 and I am very upset. It is a Serta by Vera Wang and the box spring even had a stain on it when they brought it out. People need to know about them. I feel I did everything right to ensure I got a good mattress, but ended up ripped-off!
