Smitty's Garage is The Worst Car Repair Shop I have ever dealt with.
I had a Light that came on and I brought my car to them for Repair. He tells me what The Charge would be and I pay. I Pick up my Car and The Light and The Same PROBLEM CAME BACK on my Drive Home the very SAME DAY. I had to Bring my Car back to Smitty's Garage THREE TIMES to Fix the Same Problem. It's a very small shop and it became apparent that they didnt have The Knowledge and Equipment to Repair my Car. After the Same Problem comes back For the Third Time The Mechanic - Bobby tells me He "Recommends I take Car to a Dealership"
I ask for my Money back because my Car was Never Fixed and The Mechanic Refuses to give me a REFUND. I couldn't believe my ears. I was loyal Customer going to them for Years. I even had my whole my Family using them. But nevertheless they Refused to give me my Money back. I still have the Same Problem because they never Fixed my car and now I have to take my car to a Dealership who is going to Charge me again. I now need to take Smitty's Garage to Small Claims Court and Fight for my Money Back. I of course will NEVER USE SMITTYS GARAGE again. They lost my Business and my Family's.
I usually don't bother to write anything like this but if I can help one person to Avoid getting RIPPED OFF by Smittys Garage then its worth it.

Not sure what this guy is talking about. I have taken all my cars to Smitty's for years and he is the best damm mechanic I have ever found. All my family and friends use him and never a problem. This is an honest trustworthy shop and it really urkes me when some loon who probaly doesn't know the brake from the gas peddle can go on the internet and slam a guy like this. If he is such a bad mechanic why has the guy been in business for over 15 years with no complaints except this jerk. Some people should be banned from the internet !

If you bring your car to a Repair Shop to get Fixed there is no need for a 'Guarantee in writing' that their work will Fix The Car. It is 100% implied and understood that a Licensed Car Mechanic is going to charge you and perform the work necessary to fix the Problem. If The Mechanic misdiagnosed the Problem then its the Mechanics Fault NOT the Customer's. If you went to a Doctor and the Dr. Misdiagnosed your illness and therefore you didnt get better would it be OK because The Dr. Performed work ? No it wouldn't. It would be Malpractice. By the way I took my Car to a New Mechanic and he can't see where they even did any additional work. They were simply resetting the Lights in the Hopes that they would stay off for an extended amount of time.
Can you honestly say that you would have No problem paying for a Repair that didn't even Fix the Problem ? Or do you just enjoy playing The Devils Advocate ?
If Smitty's Garage lacks the Equipment, Mechanical Expertise or Knowledge it takes to Fix a Repair then this is more then enough reason to inform other Potential Customers. I don't normally take the time to write anything like this but if it can Help one Person from losing their hard earned $$$ then its worth it.
