We where invited to "a dinner prepared by a chef", thinking it would be a legit dinner. We dressed up and went to the event. We where greeted in the hotel lobby by mark, the owner. Mark stated he was just a representative for the company. He talked down about all other store pans such as Teflon, T-fall, Revere, and Caphalon. We told them we went to another presentation earlier in the week for a similar product. He talked down about them, and saying they stole his marketing, but didn't say his product was any better. He cooked a piece of chicken, potatoes and apples for 12 people. That was our dinner for 2. He then showed us how the cookware would whistle when the meal was complete, and would wipe clean with a paper towel when done. After, he let us browse the cookware which ranged from $500-$5000. You could only buy a set, and not individual items. We decided on the smallest set, received our items three weeks later. We cleaned the pans with warm water and vinegar as told by the instructions. We cooked with them. The pans never whistled. Burned our food terribly. The pans have been hand washed 3 times and in the dishwasher 4 times, and still look black. Attached is pictures. Called customer service asking for a refund on our product, they told us we had three days from the day we signed the contract to cancel. We asked them why it took so long to get our product. They stated they had to run the credit. We had to pay to get it shipped there and back to get it replaced. We asked for a supervisor, after being told that she would hang up on us because we where not satisfied with the product. She stated there was no supervisor and that she was customer service. Also asked for another number to contact the company, she stated there was none. We told them would put a stop payment on the credit card. They said they would take us to court if we didn't pay them. Mark stated the company has been in business for 138 years, when checked Better Business Bureau, they stated they where in business since 12/1/2001. There was 29 complaints closed in the past 3 years. I'm still trying to return the product to get our money back.

So I just tried the phone number and no answer, not even a voice mail. Is there an updated number? Or has your rating gone down and now can't afford a customer service line?
