I ordered a shed from ShedsForLessDirect.com on April 28. It never arrived. Delivery dates were pushed back repeatedly — from May 13 to May 15 to May 29 — with no tracking ever provided. Eventually, the order was canceled with no explanation I could verify.
In response to my honest 1-star review, the owner began emailing me directly — not to resolve the issue, but to insult and threaten me. Here are some of his actual quotes:
• “I will come after you for damages.”
• “You will be met quickly with a civil lawsuit.”
• “I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again.”
• “You have more problems than a wood shed.”
• “I know who you are.”
Instead of accepting responsibility, the company’s owner escalated to legal threats — sending a cease-and-desist letter through an attorney in an apparent effort to silence my complaint.
This may violate the Consumer Review Fairness Act and Anti-SLAPP laws, both of which protect the right of consumers to share honest reviews without retaliation.
Bottom line: If anything goes wrong, you may not only lose time, money, or the product you ordered — you may be threatened for telling the truth.
Recommendation: I Strongly Recommend Avoiding This Company
