STATEMENT:

As an employee (Manager/Firefighter Dr. Frank Beckles) I am truely disgusted with Secure Watch/ADT management who don't know how to manage their teams. All employees are wearing unprofessional atire, except me & just a couple others. An amount of cussing is allowed to go on, and Secure Watch is NOT an authorized ADT dealer. Different branches ARE getting their consultants pulled over and police and camera crew filming the company because their apart of some scam, hiring prostitutes, reckless driving, smoking in the non-smoking vehicles, speeding, D.U.I's, driving with no/or suspended licenses, breaking solicitation laws, & gang-bangers to sell, and install Security Systems! (Seriously! Like, I'm the only dude with no criminal record & acts like a real professional..)I've filed complaints & reported Secure Watch/ADT to The Police & F.B.I. They are being investigated, I stopped working there just last week.. The Worst of The Branch is in Augusta, Georgia/ The one I came from, The Dates I worked there was : 7/5/11 to 7/18/11 ( I was never terminated & Dwayne even called my house to ask me to come back & work for him) Also in which I witnessed these thing happening, I also mailed a letter to your Company's address. One date in particular sticks out in my mind- 7/9/11 (I may be a little off on the dates, because I gave all my paperwork to the local police), when I rode with a team to Allendale SC, where one of The Team Leaders, smoked in the Van during the entire trip, making me sick, I had to be hospitalized @ MCG that Saturday Evening, and during work Kaleb, Marcus, and this white girl (other Team leader), threatened customers who didnt want to buy a security system, constantly used profanity in public and at lunch time at a Pizza Joint- they would get in verbal fights with other team members, I could go on and on about all the crap I saw while working for this joke of a company. But my only concern rright know is to just get my paycheck, which has illegally been with-held by Dwayne!

Securewatch — They are a scam

Company information:
Securewatch ADT

Knoxville, Tennessee

I was an employee of Securewatch and they treat us like cattle. I worked for the Corporate office in knoxville, Tn. I would hear the Johnson City, Charlotte, Chatt. And other branch employees weren't getting their checks. The checks would come two to three weeks late, when these consultants are already busting their ### to door knock to get a deal. Then in corporate you have customer service representatives not answering their phones to customers with legit complaints with their service. You have them looking at facebook or playing games. The offices at the Regions building isn't finished with construction. Every employee is disgusted with management bc the managers don't know how to manage their teams. All employees are wearing unprofessional atire. I couldn't believe the amount of cussing that was allowed to go on. Then you hear different branches are getting their consultants pulled over and police and camera crew filming the company bc their apart of some scam...Hears my advice...Get your act together, start one branch and get it complete before worrying about opening another, get your consultants properly badged, screen and piss test them, background check...and for god sakes pay the people who feed you guys in Corporate rather than hold their checks for weeks while their babies are starving and your driving around in your BMW.

Tons of statements like mine (abuse against employees & customers) are popping up all over the web!

I hope you are genuine, and serious about changing things for the better.. Secure Watch (Corporate Headquaters) can start by paying empoyees for hours worked!

I signed up for ADT through these gangsters Secure Watch
And unfortunately signed a contract, I moved about a year later
And knowing that I was under contract I called ADT and had my
Services transferred. I get a phone call a few months later from
A very unprofessional collection agency saying that I owe them $1080
But why I have paid my bill every month and I have a 720 credit score
So it's evident that I pay my bills. They tell me that I was suppose to call
Secure watch to transfer... But I paid my bill to ADT? However, ADT had me
Sign a new contract at my new address so they tricked me right there so now they
Have a lady calling me telling me if I paid my bills I wouldn't have this problem. What?
I only transferred because I was under contract that's the only reason. Also the tenants
I rented my house to got ADT connected there as well. I guess I will have to get an
Attorney because this is ridiculous. I pay them every month like clockwork... Comes directly
Out of my account. Gangsters is what ADT and Secure Watch are!

I am from Greensboro NC and I had them at my business. I had a break in while the system was activated. ADT/secure watch never tried to asist me with anything. No phone calls or anything. I called several times and when someone finally came out they tried to put it on the business by saying it was on stay. Ok even if so doesn't that still mean the alarm is supposed to go off if the Windows are opened or broken. Well replaced my own things and asked to be released from contract. After going back and forth for months I supposedly released. After a year of nothing I received a letter of putting a lien/judgement on me for what. So I called and this disrespectful rep tells me I'm not out it was only with ADT. So i have to pay. How? So can talk to? I told him that I cant get an attorney as well

I worked for secure watch adt for 6 mths, and they treat everyone like crap! Mr. Thompson you owe me a $1800 team leader paycheck, which Bryan Weaver failed to send to me, when I decided to quit. They play favorites in selecting who will advance in the company, and for the most part I noticed that they are racist! and yes they do do background checks, but even if you have a record all you have to do is be friends with the branch manager and he will but in a good word for you and you can stay employed or he'll become regional manager of Missouri, just ask Bryan Mcswiggan, who has a felony for a suspended license. They screw the sales people because if you sell a good system to a customer the sales person uses all the points they give which is seven, ( motion detector-2, smoke/heat-2, door sensor-1, key fob-1, pennant-1) and to make matters worse for every point you save you get $15 but if you go over ever point they take $30. And since the company is commission based the customers get the short end of the stick! The company also urges that the salesmen never mention anything about a credit check, but that's how you get approved they look for anyone with a 585 or better, ( the commission is also based on the customers credit, 585-614=$180, 615-649=$240, 650+=$300)And to make it even better even if you get to run someone's credit and you can't close the deal because they find out that they have to pay an activation fee. Which can be waived for the customer, secure watch changed the amount from $99 to $149. Regardless all of this bulls*it that I've seen from the the company the real crooks are Matt Thompson and ADT. Secure watch sells the contracts that they have acquired for $1500 to ADT, ADT then owns the contract and won't due anything if the customer complains about the salesperson lying regardless of the topic the contract can be cancelled at no penalty to the customer( which is stated on the back of the contract in the fine print) but I still see all these complaints about ADT penalizing for canceling the contract due to the salesperson lying! Also ADT should pay me for doing their footwork, they steal sales from the salesperson (this was the straw that broke the camels back for me) every time the sales person runs a credit check and if the they are a few points under the recommended credit or even if the individual is interested but has to do something and wants you to come back and the customer gives you their personnel phone number to finish the process, and when you call back and you find out that ADT not secure watch came in and uses all the info that you gathered and got the customer interested comes in and sells them the system without you being there, I would consider theft and this just didn't happen once ADT, so you can kiss my white a$$ if you want to say something different. So frankly I don't believe in secure watch or ADT, and until I see my money come from Matt Thompson, and I see some money come from ADT, both I would consider crooks, thieves, and liars so feel free to send it either by cash, check or money order to Forrest Becker @ 1540 blockford ct e, Tallahassee, FL 32317,

I know for a fact that the Fayetteville NC office is good; they summit a background check and you have to fill out the I-9 form. You are actually an employee and get paid on a regular basis. I'm not sure about the sales staff but from what i see and have heard is that the majority of them are honest people just trying to work like everyone else. Yes some offices are bad and do need fixing and they're sending managers to properly train the sales staff and the installers. They're companies out there 'Elite and VMS" that are far worse, their BBB ratings are down the drain and its shocking that the BBB rating for secure-watch is good. All I'm trying to say is that all companies have their faults but for the most part they're trying to fix what is wrong; obviously they're still a company after so many years.

I worked for securewatch ADT as an installer from April 2010 - August 2010. I'm not too sure what goes on in the sales vans although I do know that they don't go through proper screening procedures. Here's what I know as a warning to families or individuals thinking of buying an alarm from them or working for them. I was sent on an average of 4 installs per day which was decent money I won't lie, but they never fingerprinted me, they never piss tested me, they never did a background check on me, I had a suspended license for 3 of the months I worked for them and they never knew. This company doesn't know who they are sending and their protection is that everyone was a (subcontractor) not a direct employee. 100% commission based 10-99 subs who are individually liable. Now why this is dangerous to families; who is to say I wasn't a murderer, rapist, child molester, or a thief? Whose to say I wouldn't set your alarm and know your codes just to capitalize on it a week later? Securewatch did not go through the proper procedures for hiring these kinds of professionals who will incur so much valuable information in their short tenure within your home. I am attentive by nature, meticulous, and professional. People naturally like me and enjoy talking to me, if I were a sick man I could use that to my predatory advantage, and sick men usually have a history. I now work for another company, and I like them. It was a relief when I received my FBI, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia fingerprint cards. It was nice to see that homeland security I-9 form and background check forms and a real employment application because this is one of the few industry where that kind of information is necessary. And I'm a libertarian constitutionalist who is opposed to that kind of identification, but in this industry I can understand it's application. Securewatch has such a bad management protocol; they lose installers frequently and turn out a new class of salespeople ever friday out of every branch. Their main focus is more systems installed than anyone else no matter the cost. They don't care about customer service or client relations. They don't care about a strong foundation in ethics, it's literally ALL about the money. You would be better off with a toy alarm from wal-mart than Securewatch as your installer. Because at the end of the day there was never enough time for service calls and the money wasn't worth it, I was one of their best installers and even I wasn't driving 45 minutes for $25 to fix someone else's screw up.

To the person int Fayetteville NC... I am in Marietta Ga and am in the same situation! I have had the service since September last year and the system has worked for maybe a month since then. Whenever I call someone to come and fix it I get long afternoons of waiting for no shows. I contacted the BBB last year to try and get some results, but as long as they say they are willing to come out they can't do anything. I recieved and email saying problem resolved from the BBB, and didnt hear anything back from them until June of this year when a collections agency called me. I paid them $400 because the threaten to hit my credit so I freaked! After that they sent two different guys (because the first one did not do the paperwork right) to "re-enstate" my service the second guy was supposed to come out and send a signal out to ADT and never did, two months later I get a call saying you owe us over $100! Really for something I don't have! I am at a DEAD END Please help!

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the CEO of Securewatch.? Having major problem with company in Fayetteville, NC. In 2010, two reps went to my daughters rental house and talked her into an alarm system. They told her there was no contract and she could discontinue it anytime she wanted because she was a student. THEY LIED! After several conversations and letters back and forth with ADT and securewatch in Fayetteville, we thought it had been cleared up. We received a phone call today about a lien being placed! Totally fed up with the lies and lack of customer service from this company! From the statements above and on other websites, it seems this is a pattern and they treat their employees even worse! Please help if you can- Thanks
