I was an employee of Securewatch and they treat us like cattle. I worked for the Corporate office in knoxville, Tn. I would hear the Johnson City, Charlotte, Chatt. And other branch employees weren't getting their checks. The checks would come two to three weeks late, when these consultants are already busting their ### to door knock to get a deal. Then in corporate you have customer service representatives not answering their phones to customers with legit complaints with their service. You have them looking at facebook or playing games. The offices at the Regions building isn't finished with construction. Every employee is disgusted with management bc the managers don't know how to manage their teams. All employees are wearing unprofessional atire. I couldn't believe the amount of cussing that was allowed to go on. Then you hear different branches are getting their consultants pulled over and police and camera crew filming the company bc their apart of some scam...Hears my advice...Get your act together, start one branch and get it complete before worrying about opening another, get your consultants properly badged, screen and piss test them, background check...and for god sakes pay the people who feed you guys in Corporate rather than hold their checks for weeks while their babies are starving and your driving around in your BMW.

yes we had a customer representative saying that they are from secure watch with a promotion with adt monitoring and stated that we get free installation and equipment for getting the adt monitoring. they did not inform us that we were to be billed by adt for the amount of $49.09 within 24 to 48 hours after installation. we were under the impression that it would not come out of his account until the 5th of august 2012..because it weck for as taken out he was billed a $25 dollar insufficient fund from his bank..I was first speaking with a gentlemen joshua which after so many complaints was able to obtain an email from steven at secure watch that the gentlemen that came out did not inform us of that charge. so the outcome was that they would send us a check for the amount of $48.09.. i was told that it was sent friday date 9-21-12.we still have not received this and now i cannot get a hold of them..please respond to this matter asap. as of right now we are very disappointed and may cancel this service..the name on the account is David Athey phone number [protected]. address is 165 quail landing court dr telford tn 37690. I live at the same residence and was here for the installation..my name is Sandra Tygart and i share the same phone number...

I made my payments to secure watch and they sent them back to me saying they were not the ones collecting my payments so I sent them to ADT and they also sent them back to me saying they were not collecting my payments secure watch was. This went on for 3 months and because of nonpayment after the third month my service was cut off and now they say I owe them $943. How is that possible when my payments were $49 and I only owed 3 months to whom I'm not sure. But if you can't figure out who is accepting my payments then I sure as hell don't want you monitoring my house.

Securewatch on behalf of ADT signed a contract with me to provide a home security system and the ability to control thermostats and lights in the home while away using a smart phone. In addition the company promised to pay off any existing contractual requirements up to $400.00 with my existing security company. At the time of the equipment installation, the installer did not have the thermostats or equipment for the lights and explained he would return the following week to complete the installation. 3 weeks later I called and they sent another installer. He installed the thermostats, but could not provide the ability for us to control them with our smart phones. An additional "common wire" had to be installed for us to use our smart phones to control the thermostats. He also was unaware about the equipment for the light control mechanism. I was informed he would return to complete the work in a few days. Several weeks past and I called the company again. This time I was informed that I had to hire an HVAC company to install the common wire, and that Securewatch was not authorized to install the common wire. Once I had the common wire installed, Securewatch would reimburse me for the expense. I was not willing to do this so I requested that they come get their thermostats, forget the light equipment and reduce my monthly invoice and charge me for monitoring services only. To date I am still being charge the original amount of $59.99 which includes alarm, thermostat and light control ability using a smart phone. I have not been reimbursed for my previous contract and a final invoice was sent to Securewatch on June 9th. In July I called about the reimbursement and was told it was sent to the business office and would be paid. Today September 13, 2013 Securewatch claims they never received the fax with the final invoice. This company is not honoring its contractual agreement, nor does it possess the ability or willingness to take care of the customer.

I, also, did the prepay...finally had to cancel a year later. Now, 3 years later, I received a Breach of Contract, though if fails to mention how much they think I owe. I have tried to call them at least every business day for a month but have failed to reach anyone, or have my call returned. Trish Gaskins, if you sue them, I'd love to be included because I've been thinking about doing the same! I live in Jonesborough, TN...

We PREPAID our contract to get 9 extra months free - BIG MISTAKE! The system never worked. I called a minimum of 50 times and have the phone records to prove it. From the beginning, they overcharged by $135 because they had bank info so that took more than a few calls. Finally, ask them if they wanted me to drive to Knoxville, 60 mi, and they refunded after a few months. Lost at least 30 nights sleep because the system has a mind of its own so it goes off in the middle of the night or when you are in church or whenever, on vacation. We finally shut it off after about six months of a revolving door of workers in and out, each one telling you something different. I should've taken them to small claims court in the beginning to get our money back but kept hoping. Also, the sales consultant, a young teenager, told us there had been breakins around our neighborhood. Our contract ran out in Oct 2012 and all of a suddenly, ADT starts stealing a monitor fee from our bank acct, $110. Took 2 months to get that refunded. Now they have written a Breach of Contract Letter telling us that we cancelled before contract term was fulfilled and would like for us to send them 75% of remaining contract bal, will report us to credit bureau, and turn over our acct to Hillcrest Law Firm to pursue our charges and fees. I'm going to sue their pants off! DON'T EVER PAY A CENT IN ADVANCE..YOU WILL BE SORRY. This company is not just an example of incompetence but greed and I've used ADT all my life but never again...

I worked for secure watch (SWS)for 4 mths, and they treat everyone like crap! Mr. Thompson you owe me a $1800 team leader paycheck, which Bryan Weaver failed to send to me, (you knew were to send it but yall made sure to send me my w-2, so i had to pay taxes on). Seucrewatch plays favorites in selecting who will advance in the company, and for the most part I noticed that they are racist! and yes they do do background checks, but even if you have a record all you have to do is be friends with the branch manager and he will but in a good word for you and you can stay employed and eventually become regional manager of Missouri, just ask Bryan Mcswiggan, who has a felony for a suspended license. SWS screwsthe sales people because if you sell a good system to a customer the sales person uses all the points they give which is seven, ( motion detector-2, smoke/heat-2, door sensor-1, key fob-1, pennant-1) and to make matters worse for every point you save you get $15 but if you go over ever point they take $30. And since the company is commission based the customers get the short end of the stick! The company also urges that the salesmen never mention anything about a credit check, but that's how you get approved they look for anyone with a 585 or better, ( the commission is also based on the customers credit, 585-614=$180, 615-649=$240, 650+=$300)And to make it even better even if you get to run someone's credit and you can't close the deal because they find out that they have to pay an activation fee. Which can be waived for the customer, secure watch changed the amount from $99 to $149. Regardless all of this bulls*it that I've seen from the the company the real crooks are Matt Thompson and ADT. Secure watch sells the contracts that they have acquired for $1500 to ADT, ADT then owns the contract and won't due anything if the customer complains about the salesperson lying regardless of the topic the contract can be cancelled at no penalty to the customer( which is stated on the back of the contract in the fine print) but I still see all these complaints about ADT penalizing for canceling the contract due to the salesperson lying! Also ADT should pay me for doing their footwork, they steal sales from the salesperson (this was the straw that broke the camels back for me) every time the sales person runs a credit check and if the they are a few points under the recommended credit or even if the individual is interested but has to do something and wants you to come back and the customer gives you their personnel phone number to finish the process, and when you call back and you find out that ADT not secure watch came in and uses all the info that you gathered and got the customer interested comes in and sells them the system without you being there, I would consider that to be theft and this just didn't happen once ADT, so you can kiss my white a$$ if you want to say something different. So frankly I don't believe in secure watch or ADT, and until I see my money come from Matt Thompson, and I see some money come from ADT, both I would consider crooks, thieves, and liars so feel free to send either by cash, check or a money order to Forrest Becker @ 1540 blockford ct e, Tallahassee, FL 32317,

I had a security system installed by representatives who later I would find out was not employed by ADT but by a sub-contractor by the name of Securewatch. The young man who sold me the system was very professional and well dressed. He noticed that I already had a system installed in my home by Vivint and he told me that they would buy-out my present contract with Vivint and inform them to terminate my service with them. Later I realized that I was still being billed by Vivint and ADT as well. I called Vivint to inquire why I was still being billed because the account should have been closed but they informed me that they had not received any communication from ADT (Securewatch) concerning the buy-out nor cancellation of my contract with them. I called Securewatch about the situation and was told that the amount of my buy-out was more than they would pay. Their solution was for me to contact Vivint and set up a buy-out payment myself because the sales person did not put the promise he made to me about paying off the contract in writing. I am having to pay both ADT and Vivint for a contract that neither will let me out off. Securewatch will not buy-out Vivint’s contract because it is more than they told the salesperson to accept as a buyout (and it’s not in writing), and ADT said the contract is not with them but with their sub-contractor (Securewatch) who is refusing to pay the buy-out as explained to me by their salesman, also Vivint just want their money for the rest of the contract. The salesman is a representative of the company he/she work for and if they are lying to people to get them locked into contracts it is fraud/scam on the part of the company they represent. The billing resolution manager with Securewatch told the person assisting me on the phone that she would turn my account over to a collection agency if I didn’t pay for the 42 months of the new contract I have been scammed into. I will continue to make calls and work this problem out. Do not sign with any contract from anyone working with SECUREWATCH. Even thou ADT is a good company the people they are contracting to sell their product will do anything and say anything to get your business find someone else who sells this product if you must have it. ADT should be reading the comments post because it conccerns their business ethics as well. You are as quilty as the people who work for you.

Wow you all sound like a bunch of naive blue collar installers. You act as if you don’t understand how the world works, particularly sales. How can you not understand that a sales pitch requires you to, 1? Tell the customer what they want to hear but you are right it’s not fair for them to over promise it sounds like the sales associates are over promising and you get stuck with their mistake but guess what that’s how you separate a person who is good at sales and isn’t. As far as using scare tactics as a pitch guess what it’s a pitch there not saying if you don’t get our security system, you will die? They are simply giving examples such as if you have a heart attack here by yourself our system could help save your life, hell they can even use guilt by saying your kids and grandchildren will sleep better at night knowing you have this system. That is all part of a sales pitch its not lying its exagerating and you will never make a buck if you expect to pretend to have integrity because no one in this world has integrity they pretend too for society but its just an act and if you think you are any different than your just arrogant and naive. When you have a huge company you have the ability to dictate terms to the installers you hire if you mess up that’s on you! I never comment on peoples rants like this but honestly it’s like you people are so naive to think the world is fair and that a sales associate is a bad person for trying to make his quota to keep his job. Sales associates are put under a lot of pressure they need to bring in x amount of dollars to keep their job and feed their family and they either fall flat on their face or are rewarded with huge amounts of cash apparently none of you could handle that pressure you can’t even handle paying to fix your own mistakes. A good sales associate will not lie or over promise but at the end of the day they have to close. Are you trying to tell me that no one has had a heart attack and used there ADT or SW24 to call for help? Guess what it doesn’t happen often but even if it happened once it can be used in your sales pitch. Obviously you are going to use that one time as a sales pitch in the future. If you want to make more money or be something more than an installer than educate yourself and except that the world is not fair. Every person you meet in life is looking out for themselves we are all self-absorbed, you got fired because you can’t accept the world for what it is. You guys probably worked at some small company where you had rights and where a big fish in a small pond. Secure watch 24 is like an ocean you could be the best installation crew in the country but you will never be recognized because you are a dime a dozen in the company, I am sure they have better things to do then say wow that guy really knows how to install fiber lets pay him more. No but they will say this guy is too nice he’s not selling at all because he wants to keep his integrity instead of pitch a rare exception. Break INS and heart attacks do happen and there is no problem using that in your sales pitch who cares if it has happened for 1 customer in the million customers they have. It’s either pretending the world is fair and everyone cares about your wellbeing before their own wellbeing or come back to reality and get over yourself. You have two choices 1. Be successful provide a comfortable lifestyle for your beautiful wife and kids or 2. Sacrifice your wife and kids lifestyle because you don’t think it’s fair to have to actually work and not be praised for all the good hard work you do. It’s just crazy reading these rants they are trying to make a profit; it’s not a non-profit organization! GET OVER YOURSELF REALIZE THAT YOU NEED TO EXCEPT THE FACT THAT PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS LOOK OUT FOR THEMSELVES THERE ARE LINES YOU DO NOT CROSS BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY AND FROM READING YOUR RANTS ITS ALL ABOUT YOU! SO DONT EXPECT OTHER PEOPLE NOT TO BE ABOUT THEMSELFS. I do not work for SW24 I met someone who works there and decided to Google them and got stuck reading your rants about how life isn’t fair.

I was fooled into receiving an alarm system from Securewatch on 05/27/2012 based on the dishonesty of the rep Dominique from Securewatch. I was promised by Dominique no funds would be drafted out of my account for 5 months. However the drafting started 2 days later $106.67 on 5/29 to Securewatch and an additional $53.99 for ADT (so much for free for 5 months). I had until 6pm on the 5/29/2012 to meet and cancel my contract, all terms of cancelation were met by 3pm on the 29th. I have placed dozens of calls and countless faxes. As of 8/27/2012 (today) I’m still calling & faxing and have not been refunded my funds. My banks statements clearly state who received the funds but the two companies continue to pass blame. Securewatch has very poor customer service and fail to note customer accounts repeatedly. Save yourself a lot of time & money call CPI.

This is all true people, I truly believe if ADT knew how that company is being operated, they would close them down. Its not the idea of Securewatch, its the people who run the place. The owner will not hear nothing about the people who are stabbing him in the back. They give him the least amount of information that they can get by with just to save themselves. The ads that are put in the newspapers and on-line are all fake. The only jobs that they have are DOOR TO DOOR, that's it. If you are good at sales, you can do good, but if you have a shady branch manager like most of them there are, you won't make crap. Take this advise: TO ALL OF THE GOOD SALES PEOPLE WHO ARE AT SECUREWATCH-------GO TO ANOTHER SECURITY COMPANY THAT WILL PAY YOU!

Personally I think it is time that ADT closes Securewatch down. It is a terrible place to work. It's not the company itself, it's the lame people that work there. The corporate office in Knoxville is driven by nothing but sexual favors. That's the truth. If anybody is considering wanting to work there, DON'T, you will regret it. All of the ads that are put in all of the Newspapers and Craig's List are nothing but lies. There are no Customer Service jobs or General Labor jobs, its all DOOR TO DOOR SALES JOBS. The owner is nothing but an overgrown child who cares only about his BMW.

A couple of quick facts and suggestions:

SecureWatch is an authorized dealer for ADT. They are licensed in every state they operate in and have the license numbers on their site - www.securewatch.com. The corporate office does not support scamming customers and employees are paid as accurately as possible.

I would suggest that customers looking to complain, go to the BBB site for SecureWatch (SWS, LLC) and contact the BBB, also contact their Customer Service department.

Potential customers should be aware of the 3 day cancel period, the pro-rated amount that is charged by ADT for the rest of the month and the next month of service that is billed within days of your system's installation, and the 3 year contract with ADT and SWS, LLC that is subject to early termination fees for the amount of the contract after the 3 day cancel period.

For employees, contact Human Resources or the Compliance Investigator that visits the branch. If you don't know how to contact these people, visit their website and call Customer Service, they should be more then happy to give you the correct number.

For people considering employment with this company, as of right now, the only call center is located in Knoxville, TN. They do use misleading employment ads, so if you don't live near Knoxville, TN, you will be applying for one of two jobs, Sales Consultant or Installer. Both jobs do not pay hourly, they are commission/job based pay. As of right now, they do pay sales for training, but it's minimum wage. They offer health insurance for those who can afford it after three months of employment. They offer vacation time to corporate employees after one year.

This company grew too fast in the beginning and poor management resulted in many problems, but they are playing catch up now and have many protocols in place to prevent those problems from happening again. They have a Quality Assurance department to inform customers of the pro-rated amount and 3 year contract. They register every employee with the alarm board in the state they work in. They drug test every employee, even at the corporate office. They do fire employees who scam customers.

If you have questions, I'd suggest you research the company via trustworthy methods, not use a forum that is merely opinions and isn't fact based. Go visit the branch and see for yourself, call their customer service, etc.

I worked for Secure Watch for one week. I was told by Gary Garst that I would be making $100 per day for a three day training period. From there I was supposed to work under a Branch Manager and learn the company so they could open a second company in Chattanooga. I worked 46 hours and made a $50 commission. Then I was told that I am only getting $33 per training day. I tried for 10 hours to collect my paycheck and was told I was only getting $30 this week and $60 next week. They are a scam. I didn't pick up my check. Instead, I've filed a report with the Chattanooga Police Department. I have pulled all Better Business Bureau complaints against the company and have spoken with WRCB News Channel 3. Secure Watch is getting publicity they didn't want. I left a steady job after being told I was hired for a $40, 000/year job. The ad I applied to even said "Management Program." It didn't say that I was going to knock door-to-door and lie to homeowners. You don't tell someone that you're not a salesman and then expect them to give you a check for $108.16. News Channel 3 will know about this web address and have all the personal information from former employees that they can use against Secure Watch in the Chattanooga/North GA area. Hopefully, they will not be here much longer.

Wow ! Blank stare @-@ all these complaints sound scary...I have an interview w/ them on April, 22, 2012 debating if I should even show up I'm terrified of jobs who lack moral and ethics. Seems like this company has little respect for their consumers and employees and if you don't value either certainly a cause for disaster.
Geese! I don't think I'll be interviewing for any position related to this company.

I was hired by Secure Watch in Fayetteville. I gave it up after two days selling. I've read all the comments and can only say that, based on my experience, they have to tighten up their act. In Fayetteville I had the pleasure of working with a group of great people from the director down to the team leaders. You guys know who you are. I'll admit that more can be done as far as the training is concerned but I honestly saw nothing that would lead me to think that the Fayetteville branch is a scam. Although my personality is not conducive to knocking on doors and selling I wish all the people there the best of luck.

As a current installer at securewatch, I will say this.
1. If you have/had a problem with the way your branch is/was run, you should've talked to your regional manager. that's what they're there for.
2. I've made better money with secure watch than i ever have anywhere else. When my pay does come up short, I report it and it is fixed. Secure watch rewards people for hard work. They get rid of lazy people. Big deal. Trust me, they aren't worried about losing you if you're gonna come cry on a website about them.
3.Quit saying this is a scam. It's not a scam. Your getting a free security system for signing a 3 year contract. no different then you do for cell phone service most places. Call ADT instead of a dealer. sure, you'll get a cheaper monthly payment, but you'll have to buy your equipment. Secure watch isn't ripping people off any more than the grocery store does. Get over it. And to say that problems with your system didn't get taken care of is ridiculous.. I have probably 6-7 service calls a week with various problems, but most operator error. I am glad to help. All you have to do is call the 1 800 number on your yard sign. Think!

If you only knew.. I started one of the TN branches as a installer. I had to install a system standing in dog /cat urine and feces or loose my job. Police called on me. Among others which I won't go into. Not to mention the "same Day" installs, where you sit around all day and wait for a job that comes in at 7pm, 40 minutes away. All because of the numbers the branch needs and the bonuses for the BOM. It's a do it or your fired mentality.
I've been stupid to go back because the installs did pay well and left after promises of things changed. They have screwed their distributors and they had to change alarm panels.
It's a sad day when install an alarm and the person "elderly" can't comprehend how to use it. You get out of there because you sent signals and got confirmation, Bingo! got paid.

PDORNITA21...it is completely possible to make 1 deal a day, it depends all on how motivated you are and your attitude. my husband works for the company, and after he does average at least one a day and if he doesn't happen to get one, then the days that he gets 2 or 3 sure do make up for it. oh for anyone else that is wondering...NO he doesn't lie, cheat, or scare anyone into deals, trust me i hear about his deals when he gets home. and also, training is paid and its only 2 days long and pays $100 for training. oh and might i note that in an earlier post i read that for who ever was supportive of secure watch (not exact words but along the lines) is just as scandelous as the people working for the company. well not true...i am an honest christian women. we have 2 young kids and attend church regularly. i am a student and i work hard and so does my husband. i am like the farthest thing away from being scandelous. i'm not even sure i know how to be scandelous. lol. andddddddddddd...like i mentioned in an earlier post, i have a security system thru secure watch. and one day we accidently turned the alarm on and didn't put the dogs up. i IMMEDIATELY went inside to put the dogs up and right then my cell phone rang and guess who it was...a worker from ADT...so for everyone complaining about a faulty system or whatever, NOT TRUE Either! ok..i think thats all for now. :) GOD BLESS!

My husband works for securewatch now. i can say that this company or the irmo, sc branch is nothing like the ones that have been previously mentioned on here. I hate scammers with a passion and if i felt at all like this company was a scam, he would not be working for them. :) They do have ID badges, piss tested, background checked and all that jazz. oh also wear a "professional attire" considering they do walk around all day in all types of weather. secure watch polo shirts and cache pants with nice shoes. i mean you have to be some what comfortable to walk all day. And i can assure everyone they don't tolerate scamming. or not anymore, i know a lot of these posts are from 2010 and 2011, but my husband and his branch manager were just sent up to virginia to straighten that office because they were making bad deals...apartments, townhomes, to low of credit, blah, blah, blah. The branch and assistant branch were both fired and now my husband and his manager are there fixing it. and not to mention that just yesterday everyone in that office had to take a class and test and all do another background check and all that jazz to be involved in the security industry in the state of virginia. so i can honestly say that they are not a scamming company. On another note, we had one the security systems installed. I personally thought that the man that installed mine was very professional and nice. and didn't drive his own vehicle...guess what he drove...a labled company van...guess how, with gas paid for by securewatch. :) oh he was also right on time and not big banging or drilling went on. and for the pay check problem, my husband has only had 2 MINOR issues. One being his fault because he didn't go in the system and approve his deal in time and it got pushed to the next pay period. the second is because of them just going to virginia, but instead of getting it saturday on regurlar pay day, he will get his check tuesday...WOW BIG DEAL(not really). I think that this job is definatley not for most people, but it is no reason to judge the company because of a few unproffessional childish people that probably don't even work for the company anymore. oh, just thought of this...and no i can not speak for all branches. but i have a friend that has nothing to do with secure watch. i clean her mothers house and she told me that a long time ago she had gotten a security system. little while down the road she had a problem and the number she had no longer worked. so she called ADT. ADT told her that the people she got her system from was just a couple that had tried to independently sale them and it didn't work out. Anyways, they told her then that the only "authorized dealer" of ADT in the columbia, sc area was thesecurewatch branch in irmo, sc...so straight from the mouth of someone at ADT. thanks for your time and i hope any future encounters with this company will not leave ya'll with ill wishes. GOD BLESS!

Worked for SWS in Wilmington NC for seven weeks and never once did I receive a paycheck that was accurate> I had to fight each and every week for my money and finally decided that it was not worth the time or effort. Working 10-12 hour days...walking door to door in the poorest counties in NC and in the heat. Treated like dogs when sales were not what Management expected. Very unprofessional atmosphere and as stated many times here excess swearing unnecessarily.

I just received a call from a Secure Watch recruiter asking me to come in for an interview tomorrow morning. I am so glad that I typed this company name into google because I came across several complaints against this company from both employees and customers. I remember applying for a call center position with this company and according to this forum, everyone here is knocking on people's doors outside all day and selling security alarm systems so im guessing that the "call center" position is really just a scam to lure people into their offices for an interview. If this is the case then I really hope this company will be fined and shut down because this is ridiculous and I hate when scam artists prey on people who are unemployed and really need a job to make ends meet. Thank god I came across this forum before wasting my time driving across Charlotte for this ### interview.

I recently worked for Securewatch's corporate scheduling office in Knoxville, TN and I agree. It is completely unprofessional, the employees do curse and they get away with everything. The manager speaks like someone who doesn't seem educated and she is unprofessional herself as well as one of the assistant managers right under her. They don't care about their customer's being swindled, as soon as they get off the phone with the customer they are speaking so bad about them. They pretend to be professional when the regional is around but the moment he steps out of the door they are back at goofing off and cursing. The reps on the phone are children, fresh out of high school and are completely unproffesional as well.

For some unknown reason all of the complaints I posted on this website are not here anymore. Don't matter because I will never forget the nightmire I went through with this company. In fact I'm still ahving nightmires and as soon as I can I'm going to file a suit against this stupid company. Causing me injury to the top of my head. Cheating me out of weekly bonus after I have work for them 3 weeks straight 10 hours aday and 4 and 5 hours without a break working out in the hot sun where they drop you off and refuse to come back to pick you up. Making excuses for the reason they can't come or just not answering the telephone when you call for a pickup. I was afraid for my life while riding in the securewatch van the team leader texting while driving speeds up to 65mpr running off the road. Driving fast over holes in the rode to cause injury, by making me bounce up in the van and bump my head really hard to cause dizziness. Had me to come to the office to pick up my paycheck and after waiting for 45min in my car they branch manager and regional manager tell me my check isn't there it was mail from corporate. I stll haven't got my check in the mail yet. I think my check as there but they refuse to give it to me. They are so unprofessional. They had the team leader to tell me that I wasn't needed anymore because I'm negative. I complain about the outragous, mad man driving, I complain about ths smoking of cigarettes and weed, I complain abouit being left in the field for over 4 hours without a break or lunch. I complained about being forced to work in area where securewatch was not authorize to be in. The list goes on and on. This is Alice Mack in Panama City Fla. Holla!

Cattle? This cattle likes the barn just fine and is glad the construction people continue to work on it – haha. Really, I’ve worked other places for other people and these guys are pretty good to work with. I have some days that could be better, but that’s true at home too! Anyway, I was proud when I got my job with SecureWatch and am still proud to work here. Maybe we knew each other – either way – sorry it didn’t work out for you.

Its time to file a class action against the company. I have personally logged every phone call and recorded them. I have copied my office call records, cell phone records, and ADT alarm records to prove that the system is defective and that they do not return phone calls and lie. It wasn't until I filed a formal complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau in TN that they returned one of my many calls. After doing some brief legal research, I know now that complaints can be filed with your State's Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, (in your state and their state of organization, TN), and your the Department of Consumer Affairs for your State. You can also send a letter cancelling the automatic payments to your bank, who also has to investigate. One last thing, slam their compalints office with correspondence and phone calls: according to the Better Business Bureau for TN and the TN Secretary of State, the complaint department can be reached at [protected] or 507 S. Gay Street, Suite 600, Knoxville, TN 37902, Attention Mr. Geraude Hall "Complaints".

I too was hurt while riding in van with a "team Leader". He was driving very erathic, fast and crazy.
I scream out for him to slow down. He laugh and everyone on the van laugh, because "they were use to him driving like that". There were alot of things that transpered that day (with him driving). The 3rd time he made my head hit the top of the van it was really hard it hurt really bad and made me cry. Because I didn't know what to do. I PRAYED AND ASK THE lORD TO HELP ME! When he drop me off I didn't realize how it had affected me, not thinking about the fact he had caused me to be hit in the top of my head. I got out of the van, when I made it to the 2nd house attempted to walk across the street I became severly dizzy. I had no idea why I was dizzy. After the van came back to pick me up I was confused and disoriented. It took me awhile to remember what had happen to me pior.

I was told by my branch manager not to come back. Panama City is the worst branch! I felt like a slave being dropped in a neighborhood for hours without any means of water or rest. One of the team leaders expected me to work in the field for over 5 hours, without a break or lunch in the sun from 12n-5pm. Needles to say what I told him. He also drove me to a service station and tried to put me out of thge van. He said I was " talking negative snd he wasn't going to put up with it"
After standing on my feet for 5hrs, There was no way I was getting out of that van and stand in front if a store and wait for my family to come and get me. Also when it became dark that sanme team leader took us (me and the other workers to a location where we are not authorize to be in and told us to go knock on doors it was after 7pm and dark outside. He everybody out of van. I'm too old to go to jail I didn't get out. So when we went in thhey told me they didn't need me anymore. Branch manager refuse to tell me I was fried, refuse to give a pink slip or anything in written stated that I was terminated. At this time I'm very upset about my pay they cheated me out of. This happen last week. They threaten to call the police on me so I had to go the Madea on their ###. "Call the PO-PO ain't scared of no PO-PO" Call me lets talk

i worked for secure watch for about 6months as an installer. IF THEY COME TO YOUR HOUSE dont let them in. Most of their installer have little training, they use garabge equipment. They dont pull electrical or police permits which will either get you a fine or no police response. WHAT GOOD IS AN ALARM SYSTEM IF THE POLICE DONT SHOW UP. I am still Waiting for my final check, just getting the run around. When you call their H.R. department you get a recording that someone will call you back. 3 days of calling no return call. Next step is to get the local Labor Board involved. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I had an interview set up with secure watch but did not go. I am very grateful for my decision now reading all of theses comments. I instead went to work for another ADT Dealer that a friend of a friend had just started. From all of your stories I am glad that this company although very small right now has none of the moral standards that secure watch seems to posses. They have been very straightforward and upfront with me about realistic goals and advancement opportunities. I work as a door to door salesman and have not been selling well the first couple months but have only been encouraged and taught better strategies every step of the way. My boss honestly enjoys coming to work everyday and going door knocking with me and the other guys. I've been with him when he has driven an hour away just to show an elderly couple how to work there system because they had forgotten since the install. Money is obviously not a high concern for them or I would have been thrown out on my ### long ago. It seems like they truly want me to succeed regardless of pay here in the early going. They are looking to expand quickly with a few offices but it seems to me like they are trying to go about it the right way. I'm not sure how it is going to work out for them because it seems like the lying cheating people seem to get to the top first but its nice to see that some employers still believe in treating their employees with respect. I hope that they succeed for that reason alone if nothing else. So for all of you going through the hardships of being with a bad company there are still good companies out there you just have to find them.

They keep things from you about the 3 years you pay $42 a month for service. When 3 years are up you still have to pay to keep the service. If you want to cancel they tell you to pay 75% of the 3yr. payments. They lie & tear your letters up & wont talk to you after they get you hooked. I hope they go bankrupt & lose everything they have cheated people out of.
