This review is based upon a Sears Warranty I had for various appliances and requested a repair for my washer. I 'had" been a customer for 7 Plus Years, making "on time" automatic bank payments. In April 2026, I requested a repair. Unfortunately, after approx. "6 plus" calls to the company's service schedule agents; 3 "different" Service Persons making a total of 5 visits; 3 rescheduled appts. (on Sear's part due to no -shows on their part); 2 "improper" diagnoses with 2 new parts installed and a 3rd final diagnosis (the correct one with part(s) installed; this from 2 different Service Companies sent with 4 non-responding calls from one company regarding service; I finally got the repair completed after 3 and one-half months - July 20th. Oh, I almost forgot! I also, was charged a $100 fee initially for the repair request to be completed. (Believe me, one cannot make this stuff up!) Needless to say, this was not the type of service I expected, told I was guaranteed to receive, nor the kind of acceptable service I thought I purchased nor received. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars... giving a 1 star under the circumstances is being generous. Unfortunately, as a result of this experience, I cancelled my long-standing contract with Sears Home Service. I hope they will do better!
Recommendation: Based on my experience, sorry, I cannot recommend Sears Warranty to anyone!
