My husband and I both followed Savoy for a while. Yet, after some time, we talked and agreed that Savoy was being too harsh and misusing Bible verses to slander other ministers, some of whom we know to be true.

This became very concerning to us and so we stopped following him.

On facebook he has a page called The Savior's Way.

Here's to hoping Savoy Way will have a "come to Jesus" meeting and get his own life right with Christ before so brashly exposing other ministers. We believe he should spend his time and energies in repentance before the Lord and stop trying to get specks out of the eyes of others while a log is in his own.

Savoy seems to be perhaps well intentioned yet he's misguided in applying his few scriptures he hangs on. He seems very unteachable when confronted with other Bible verses that do not agree with his beliefs. And, we know that indicates a deep problem, that is, when someone refuses to embrace all of Scripture, letting it correct them and further growing their knowledge of God through the whole of His Word.

My husband, who has been teaching the Bible for decades here in Canada, told me that Savoy is still very limited in his knowledge of God's Word and unfortunately, full of pride and unteachable. My husband is also concerned about Savoy's tendency toward what he calls a "greasy grace", which is a lack of personal responsibility in following Christ. He says that Savoy seldom or never talks about suffering, persecution and the crucified life every disciple must have. He says Savoy tends toward and is probably a Calvinist. He only focuses on the lite fare of the Bible and purposely ignores Bible verses he doesn't like or that bring conviction and call people to repent and obey Christ. Matthew 7:21 is the verse in the Bible that comes to my mind.

To give an impartial picture, to ignore scriptures that are not welcome because they require that we truly die to self is to mislead. Isn't that what Jesus said the Pharisees did? Didn't He tell us that the false leaders would reject God's Word in order to follow their false traditions?

Savoy is a man who is misleading others, giving them a false hope, making them think they are right with God while they are not living in the will of God. This is dangerous and for this reason, we believe this man should be avoided.
