I went to Santa Monica BMW and they messed up my car's engine when I brought it in for the first time. My BMW was new and they said the battery was bad and charged me for it. They wouldn't change my brake pads even though it's dangerous.

I sold my car to this place and they gave me a check that bounced back for a lot of money. When I called them, they just sent me to different departments and wouldn't let me talk to anyone important. This might be a crime of check fraud and they still haven't fixed it.

I jus' paid off my car loan early and got a letter from the bank sayin' I might be owed some money for *** insurance. They told me to call Santa Monica BMW so I did. I left messages with their finance team but it's been weeks and no one's called me back. I keep tellin' reception that no one's called me back but they keep forwardin' me to different voice mails. I just wanna know if I'm owed any money and when I can get it since it's their fault for takin' so long.

On September 9th, I got a message on my BMW that my leased car needed an oil change. I called BMW and made an appointment for the next day, September 10th. I took the car for service and they told me that the service was not covered anymore and I had to pay from my own pocket. They quoted me a price of over $300. It was a lot of money for an oil change, but I was already there and in a hurry so I said yes. When I went to pick up the car later that day, they gave me a bill for over $***. I swear to God. The technician added a lot of services and didn't write any prices on my receipt. They took the receipt from me and reduced the price to $800. It was still crazy. They didn't give me the car until I paid, so I had to pay. It was a complete scam from beginning to end. The technician, ***, knew exactly what he was doing. He wasn't surprised at all when I was shocked by the cost.

I bought a car from Santa Monica BMW like a year ago. It was pre-certified and cost $36,000 with some extras like run flats, insurance, and maintenance. They gave me $3000 for my old car and I got a loan for $33,000 for 6 years. I asked if they did re-certifications but they said no. Later on, when I tried to re-certify the car, I found out they sold it to me for too much money. They basically sold me a new car from a used lot. I didn't know until a loan officer showed me the numbers. I'm a single mom and don't know much about buying cars, so I trusted the salesperson to give me a fair price.

I bought a car from Santa Monica BMW on 7/6 and the check engine light came on right away. They promised me a certified pre-owned car, but both front and rear right side rims were damaged. It seems like they sold me a lemon. They violated the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act Civil Code and the Business and Professions Code Section XXXXX. This is fraud and a breach of the written contract. They also violated the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Cal. Civ. Code Section 1750 et seq.). When I signed the documents on 7/6, I noticed the check engine light was on. The salesperson told me he noticed it when Brandon went to fill up the car with fuel. Brandon intentionally failed to mention this material fact. This was the first problem with the vehicle. I decided to cancel the contract due to the check engine concern, but the finance manager and *** advised me that it was too late to cancel the contract and I had to take the vehicle. I unwillingly took the vehicle home. On the way home, I felt the vehicle shaking. I mentioned this same shaking during the test drive, but Brandon wrote off the concern. When I took the car in for the shaking issue, the service mentioned both right side rims front and back were bent. Furthermore, *** the owner accused me of bending the wheels. He stated "once you leave the parking lot we are not responsible for the vehicle." Santa Monica BMW's fraudulent actions have left me with no choice but to pursue this matter with the ComplaintsBoard.com. The certified pre-owned inspection checklist warrants that the vehicle was in excellent driving condition. However, as you know, these statements are false, misleading, and blatant fraud based on the immediate state of disrepair my vehicle suffered. I was not provided with proper and accurate information regarding the true condition of the vehicle.
