Called for a door to be unlocked at 9:00 AM. I appreciated the very quick response. Unfortunately, the technician had to break the doorknob/lock... which I approved.
Problem was with payment. When I offered my credit card payment, they would not accept it. They wanted cash, Venmo or Zelle; neither of which had been discussed prior to the work being started. I offered a check which they refused. I offered the credit card but they wanted my drivers license, my credit card photo or else they would call the police.
At no time did they offer a solution but were rather rude; as was I in response. Very frustrating situation in working with an organization who were not upfront about payment when I called in to their number. Also frustrated with the lack of professionalism in how this business manages customers; sent a very young and seemingly inexperienced technician to the job.
