I had a continual drip in my water heater hot line, and could not get it to stop. So my son found a discount coupon for Roto Hero. A representative came out and told us we had old corrogated pipes that were corroding and tried to sell us a $37,000 whole house refit. We said no and he quoted us a $3000 price for replacing whatever piping needed to be replaced. He then took a very large pipe wrench to try and remove the pipe. He did not use a second wrench to brace the connection and as a result broke the pipe and connection. Not what I would call too professional. He then brought in a second person (an installer) who cut a one foot square hole in the wall ($250) and replaced the broken pipe with 12 inches of copper pipe and a compression fitting, charging us $2,650.00 for that. He then replaced the sheetrock stating on the invoice that was emailed to us the next day that it had been secured with screws. It was not, and we were charged an additional $100 for that. I have a friend who is a retired plumber. That is why he did not do the job. He told me that a job like that should have cost no more that $350 tops. I called Roto Hero’s operations manager, and he offered me a $999.00 refund. That is still $1650 overpriced, so I refused. It took them less than a half hour to do the repair. These people are sheisters and I would not recommend them to anyone! I am going to take them to small claims.

Desired outcome: A refund of $2,600.
