I purchased a Ronco 'Showtime' Professional Rotisserie oven (model K6031) from QVC, and a 4-year extended warranty directly from Ronco. The unit worked fine the few times I used it. In July 2009 the unit developed a internal electrical short within the manual timer area that produced a electrical buring smell and killed the unit. The unit is still under warranty. I've called the Customer Support number many times and each time I'm told that: 1) they still don't have parts to ship; 2) they do have parts on order; 3) they expect to receive parts shortly; 4) and that I will have my parts by {insert date three weeks into the future here}. The Rotisserie works great but I don't suggest buying the extended warranty. The business moto of this company appears to be: Sell it and forget it.

I have been trying to get one $6.00 replacement standard left runner for my Set It and Forget It since November 2007. I have a packing slip dated 1/7/08 Order # [protected] that came with the right runner not the left! I have been trying ever since to get the correct part. I have talked with 4 different customer service representatives and one Supervisor beginning in the first part of April until the present. I have the dates, names and responses from each one telling me something different about the supposed ship date. I can provide these if necessary. Without this part I can no longer use this appliance that I rely on.

This company is full of it and after looking at the [redacted] they must be money hungry. Im being charge $5000.00 dollars for something I never ordered.

I have been waiting on my $140.00 knife set I bought Nov. 27th 2007. Yea i said (2007).It is now March of 2009. I have talked to 5 different CRS's 2 Supervisors and sent in 3 emails. Any advice?

I too was scamed by this company, in late June I purchased a Showtime oven, it was broke upon delivery. It was bought through "Popeil Family Store", I was told the next day they would be shipping out a new oven shell, and that they would send me a shipping label for the defective oven return. Popeil Family store has closed, so after many e-mails, phone calls, and fax's no response from anyone. I contacted Ronco directly today and was told I have to go through "Popeil Family Store" to get a replacement. So here I sit with a $238 oven, broken since arrival and no recourse. Any advise from anyone is appreciated.

Update:
Ronco Mktg. was purchased in 9/07 by Ronco acquisitions, in order to return the company,
"back to profitability"...
This may explain why the company is a mess, and/or no-one cares about older complaints and problems.

I have been dealing with these scammers since 4-22-08, when I cancelled and asked for my $ refunded from an undelivered knife set, ordered 1-28-08. I have been in contact with customer "lip"service, 12x and get apologies, 7-10 day promises, problems with my still being on an "old" database, supervisors never there, disconnected #'s for corporate, or billing dept etc., etc.. This has gone on for 2 1/2 months I have NEVER been so given the run around by anyone before, unless they were intent on never refunding my $ anyway.
On 7-3-08 "Rickie"-my favorite apologist-, notified me of a received update that checks will be arriving on 7-10-08. I was obviously distrusting, and called 7-9-08. Rickie notified me that the order had not yet been processed! More apologies-he is good at that-, and a promise to escalate the request again...-for the 6th time!
I suspect that this company is on the skids and-or bankruptcy, and they don't care about refunding any $$$. Also another reason why they supposedly relocated to NY state. -NO new # yet...
$ 78.67 down the drain...they are not done with me yet though...

I got a showtime rotissery for christmas. I ordered some items for it from ronco in simi valley ca. After waiting for 3 months i finally cancelled the order and was told i would have refund in 10 days, i called today and was told i would have to wait another 2 weeks before i would get it. If anyone knows the number for the corportate headquarters or the email address please send Thank you
