Rocket Money review: Do not buy a mortgage from this company

For 6 years, I had a mortgage with Mr. Cooper Mortgage Co. I paid $1056.20 per month and, paid my own insurance and taxes. In March 2026, Rocket bought my mortgage they changed my mortgage amount to $1322.25, then one month later charged me $1227.99 and have done so ever since. I have called their customer service department several times and have waited on hold for hours! When I was told that I didn't pay for insurance, they bought some high-priced insurance from some company; I don't even know where I'm supposed to be getting insurance, and they never bothered to inform me. I informed them that I have always had insurance and sent them the proof, they were always going to take care of it! I paid it again this month (September 2026).
Also, I have my payments taken out of my account every month and they had the nerve to charge me a late fee!
