They are raising the rent $35 a month beginning in 2019. They raised the rent last year. The amount they raise the rent is greater than inflation. Rent is going to be $732 a month and this does not include utilities, water, cullinary water, sewer and garbage. We are responsible for keeping our lawns mowed and our yards clean. Also cable TV is not included in this rent. The Clubhouse shuts down at 6 p.m. if it's even open. The furniture in the laundry room has been removed and not replaced so those who use the laundry must stand up or sit on the floor while waiting for laundry. The TV in the sitting room broke in 2006. The exercise room was turned into a library, which has been locked up for several years. The pool room has been turned into a "training room." The hot tub has been broken for many years and now they are removing it. If they are going to consistently raise the rent year after year those things should be restored. If not, then the rent should not be raised for at least five years because the value of this place is going down. They require us to spend a lot of money to pain our homes. It would be a lot easier to maintain our homes and make improvements if the rent weren't so high.
