THAMES WATER SERVICE FAILURE

Neighbours and i reported a large leak on the street on 27 Jan 13. The road is higher than our homes, so presents a flood risk. On 27 JAN water ran into our garages where our electrics are housed.
We called at least 20 times, we wrote, we emailed. We warned them it was getting worse with the constant flow of traffic. Now the whole road is breaking up and the flood risk even more severe.
As of 21 Feb 13, still no action. Got onto Lambeth council, highways manager was excellent, came out immediately. Galvanised Thames into action, said work would start immediately, but UH OH, Thames had omitted to obtain a permit to switch off the water so still no action.
Last year Thames connected a water meter to a neighbour's pipe, said it was mine and billed me for it. Took 1 year to sort out. Too bad they remain as they are: as efficient and organised as a Zimbabwean general election

I signed paperwork saying they would reinstate the concrete area where they'd fit the meter. Imagine my surprise when i came home from work one night in December 2011 to find they'd used black tar on my...
