Talecris Plasma The employees at grifols victory dr

The employees are extremely rude. They sit behind the front counter and persistently talk about people . They are extremely loud. The staff talks and plays all dayvlong. Therefore, making the screening process extra long. The make threats, and when you complain to a member of management things get worse. When you eneter into a business where your donating because your in need of money you should not be treated badly. They act as if they are better than you. However, if it wasn't for loyal customers they wouldn't have a job. They constantly antagonise you when you enter their work place and I'm tired.

About a year and a half ago I had been donating at Telecris Plasma on Victory Drive for 2 years. One day I was feeling dizzy and put up my hand and the employee walked right by me and was unhooking another donor while I was panicking as I did not know what was happening. I was very stressed at the time due to a messy divorce. I walked out and was very stressed about what happened. I made a comment to myself and the employee that had ignored my problem was in the smoking area. He went in and misrepresented what was said and called me a racist. His accusation haunts me to this day as I have never cared what color a person was and I have many friends from all races. Then I said I was sorry even though they wouldn't tell me what the employee said. I said "I have many African American friends" and she (the assistant manager at the time) said African American was a racist slur and deferred me permanently. I just heard Oprah Winfrey, who I have great respect for, use the term African American so the assistant manager was misinformed and embarrassed me. She then called in 3 more African American employees who said I could be a problem. NO ONE had ever had to remind me of anything except when I crossed my legs while donating. I do not understand this. I have witnessed drug transactions by the plugs for the cell phones on 2 occasions. I am a retired police officer and I find it very troublesome that I was called racist. In my 20 years as a police officer I dealt with all races. Most were very nice people but some weren't but I still respected them. I called last week and spoke to the manager and she said she would get back to me but never did. I feel this is reverse discrimination and am very upset about it. There was no proof I did anything except heresay. I get deferred permanently on no facts just one persons statement who is obviously the racist person against caucasions. People can deal drugs there but I can't use the term African American when I hear that many times a day with very respectful people like Oprah when she is fighting for equal rights. So how do I get deferred for saying it to myself on the way to my car. I am very quiet and reserved and am not like that at all. Talecris Plasma Unsafe, long wait times

Excess. Wait, Hygiene, Unable to Donate on First Visit (Waited 14-days. If this complaint results in any kind of deferral you will be reported to external agencies. Also, I do not wish to discuss this with center staff).
Donation exceeded over two hours on Sunday, 4/27/14. On my second visit last week, the screener changed his gloves but then checked his cell phone twice and pick something off the floor during the screening. You have [censored]ed my finger. Body touching, sweat wiping, touching the equipment, bumping, handling multiple donors without a glove change...all of that should be kept to a minimum. By the way, I do not enjoy sending this nor do I need any more examples. Engaging in "unsafe" conduct does not "help" anyone. I am a regular plasma donor of five years, I am just donating plasma.
After waiting 14-days from donating at another center, where there are clearly problems, I spent two hours in your waiting area. Finally, after being shuffled in and out of the screening area, my fingers were scanned. It was still showing that I donated at another center and I could not continue. Two hours? Why didn't you scan when I came in? When I asked on the phone if I should come in a few days early to start an external check, why didn't you say 'yes?' I told the staff person where I had been donating. Just scan the fingers first. Again, I waited over the 14 days. If ees are using donors to improve your process, causing intentional delays and annoyance, this is extremely inappropriate. I am donating plasma as a healthy donor who meets your requirements. You are expected to service all of those in a confidential and respectful manner.

Talecris Plasma Horrible place

If you are a crackhead, junkie, or tweaker - or like being around crackheads, junkies, or tweakers - or enjoy being treated like a crackhead, junkie, or tweaker - then this Talecris center is for you. The facility is often quite dirty & unkempt. It is unorganized, and staffed with several seemingly very unhappy and rude employees (including the Manager) who will make your visit & donation a very unpleasant and miserable experience.

Run, don't walk to another center. This place has many negative online reviews, and I wish I had read them prior to visiting this center. Beware!

Talecris Plasma Deceitfull tactics/filthy clinic

I went to this clinic in hopes of earning the $50.00 advertised donation payment.

I called Talecris and was told it would take 31/2 hours to donate.
I also went to their web site and read all the guidelines for donating.

The web site stated it would only take 21/2 hours to donate.
I also reviewed all the restrictions for donating. I seem qualified according to their web site statements.

The clinic is filthy, the outside parking lot and front door area has garbage and cigarette butts every where. The garbage even trails in through their double doors into the clinic.

I sat for a total of 12 hours, being fed lie after lie threw the entire day sitting there. The staff and Manager treated me with utter disrespect.

After 12 hours of this insanity, I was told I could not donate due to the prescription medication I take.

But they take the blood of cocaine and herion users.

I asked why they just were not truthfull up front about all the restrictions and time it really takes.
The staff member told me because if people really knew how long it takes, and the restrictions they would not get any donations.

So in other words, we lie to potential donors to get you in there, we could care less that your day was totally taken up and you get no compensation for all that.

This clinic is outrageous, they need to clean it up, get Professional Management, and start running the place with at least some regard for the people willing to donate.

DO NOT GO TO TALECRIS, YOU WILL GET USED!

I am a prior donor at Talecris and have never had to sit and wait so long to get weighed and screened. I was here when the doors opened and it took the front counter person a hour to get to me and they also checked someone else in that came in an hour after I did. The way they have the sign in sheet is ridiculous. When it was operated by appointments it ran alot smoother and you actually got to donate with in the slotted time period and didn't have anyone get checked in and weighed ahead of you.

I go to Talecris twice a week. My first day it took me 3-4 hours to get fully done. You have to come early if you wanna be out fast that time that they give you is for if no one is there before you. Also I am not on any meds, and they do not take the blood of heroin users, they do a blood test on you for anything and everything and they check you for needle marks every time you go donate. They do an amazing job, and you were just incorrectly informed and did not do things the smart way. I am a college student and they put a pretty decent amount into my pockets between paychecks, so do not down talk something just because you did not think to ask ahead because of some medication you are on.
