I want to report a scam, i met someone from online dating site, said he send me a parcel contains necklace, wrist wacth & a sum of 4, 500 pounds, he send me the website & the tracking number where i can locate the parcel. One day a lady from malaysia which is a filipino called & said that my parcel is Held in their office due to sender violated the rules abt shipping parcel, & asked me to pay charges of 1, 500 in malaysian currency. I believed it as the lady who called speak to me in our langauge and is very convincing, and at the same
time the website is real that i can locate where the parcel goes and see the status everyday. SO i paiy the amount was asked to pay and 1 day after another email from the courier give me another amount to pay that includes the insurance & the VAT of the package, then i got suspicious as Why theres a VAT and insurance which i thought the sender paid for it already, so what i did i search on google if its really need to pay insurance when theres a money detected inside the parcel. And then i found lots of complaints about scams at the same story i had with different people exactly the same.
The number that appears to my fone is from Malaysia, im not sure if its a callcenter that has illegal business Thing, And i was thinking why this people has connections to people in the UK, and im sure not just people in the UK but in other part of the world.
I want the Police & investigator locate the address of that courier, as i tried to contact the number it many times and seems like a special number re-routed to an answering machine.

I want this scam & fake parcel website stop, as it ruins many peoples lives, imagine how this people barrow money in the thought that the package is being held and in order to release it u have to pay Fortune. Even if the courier is true, how come this courier has illegal transaction with people in malaysian customs just to get money from it. This is ridiculous, the blogs i have read from different sites has lots of scam in malaysia, i think even if the country is good in our impression, it will change when u see that malaysian are scammers, just same with some people from the UK.
