Since early March, I've received repeated notices of toll violations for a license tag that I gave up when I turned the car in on a new lease in 2016. I've been to DMV and have list of registered owners since 2016 up until 2021 when the car was put up for auction. The photo on the invoices is clearly not the car I ever owned. We drove from the auto train in Virginia to Massachusetts. We stopped at a hotel in Weehawken, New Jersey. At the exit 16E - Lincoln Tunnel / NJ 3 / Secaucus there was no lane to pay a toll so we proceeded through. I just received a bill in the mail for the $4.90 toll PLUS a $50.00 administrative fee.
