January 2022 - present January 2022, we thought the interest only loan payments were due for renewal. We called to renew and were told interest only was no longer available. I do not know if they actually did this, yet these third party people called me on behalf of my student loans. They said they were extra loans and were in default and if I called Navient they would just send me back to Valentine & Kebartas. I thought it was fake, yet they knew a lot about my information, and had my phone # that I don't even know and were actually asking the right questions. I resentfully signed up in a payment plan. Next thing I knew I was buying gas in the northeast and I live in Florida. Is this blackmail and unlawful? I do believe so and would like to speak to an attorney because now two evil [censored]heads in maine or Massachusetts know all my information and have been antagonizing me for months ahead of me answering just to try and steal from me given information from Navient?

In 2007, i refinanced my home and wrote 3 checks totaling $30,000 to Sallie Mae to pay off 3 variable rate loans. Each check had the corresponding loan number clearly written on it. They applied the funds across all loans, including the low interest fixed rate loans. As a result, I am still paying for these loans 16 years later.
