Lush Illumination Money scam

I am from Scotland, UK. I ordered this trial away back in 20th August 2012, at the time 2 companies took money DEADSEAKIT.COM and ILLUMINATION US. Right away i thought this was dodgy as i only ordered from one company. I tried to cancel but they never replied. I cancelled the card.

Then on the 10th September 2012 ILLUMINATION US took £64.56 along with an overseas charge of £1.50 and again on 10th october 2012, they took £53.09.

I phoned the bank yesterday as i never noticed Septembers money being taken. They asked me if I had cancelled and i said yes. The £53.09 has been refunded to me this morning and she said I will get it all back. They can continue billing me but the bank will refund it and fine the company so they will loose interest but they cant cancel the card for some reason. I think this company is on their radars anyway.

As long as you phone the bank and tell them you cancelled as soon as you ordered it, then you will get it all back. Im not sure about all banks but this is the Halifax (HBOS) in the UK.

**You have to tell them it was cancelled before they took money**

Lush Illumination Trial is scam

I've applied for a trial offer from Lush Illumination and expected that only shipping expenses will be deducted from my account. Instead of $5.95 more than $100 were deducted from my account. I didn't authorize this and worst part was that I wasn't able to get hold of anyone in order to get refund. SCAM!

FULL REFUND for LUSH ILLUMINATION customers now available. A settlement has been reached in the trademark litigation against the seller of LUSH ILLUMINATION and LUSH REJUVINATION that gives all customers of those products a full refund of all charges made on your credit or debit card. There are few limitations on this refund. You must have been charged for the porduct, and you can't have already received a refund or charge back on your card. Go to www.lushillumintion.com to download and fill in a form to be refunded 100% of what you have been charged for these product. This offer expires June 10, 2013. This is a legitimate offer to refund your money. If you do not get a refund in a reasonable time, please let me know. My name is Jack Clifford, and I am an attorney for Cosmetic Warriors Limited, owner of the LUSH trademark for cosmetics. the plaintiff in this litigation and I have worked on this litigation since it began.

With many online trial offer there is sometimes more than one product that works together and are advertised together, but they are actually from different companies. That means you are supposed to speak to the customer service department for both products. The phone numbers are usually listed in the charge description and are probably different from each other. It sounds like you only cancelled one of the trial products you ordered. I'm sure the customer service would be able to work it out with you if you called them because it seems like you only called the one company and not the other.

Hello! My name is Jack Clifford, I am an attorney in Minnesota who is suing the people who sell LUSH ILLUMINATION and LUSH REJUVENATION for trademark infringement and related claims about their advertising and billing practices. If you bought either of these products in Minnesota (USA) I would like to tell the court about your experience. This post is a request for information to help my client. I represent the makers of LUSH cosmetics, www.lush.com, and you can learn who I am at www.johnaclifford.com. If you are willing to help my client in their law suit against LUSH ILLUMINATION, and are willing to contact me and share your experience, I would love to hear from you. My e-mail address is jclifford@merchantgould.com, or you can call me in Minnesota at [protected]. I would be happy to send you a copy of the complaint I filed here in Minnesota if you want to see what the suit is all about. This post is not hoping to find new clients, I only seek information to benefit my current client in their suit.

I had the same experience. I can't afford the charges they made to my account. Someone should do something about them, but who do we complain to who can do something. This is despicable! I too have called and e-mailed and got no response. I have my bank working on this. I hope someone can put them out of business.

I ordered a trail from lush illumination also (sample trail that I paid for) & never got the sample, I called about a week or 2 of ordering to see where my sample was, they said I would have it that friday, I never got it at all, they have taken their websites down & the number has a answering machine now, I canceled/closed out my credit account to prevent further charges from this ### company-sick that I paid and did not even get the sample.

I also have become a victim of both these scams. My bank are taking this up on my behalf, they say they can get my money back. They have also cancelled my debit card so that no more money can be taken from my account.

I was also charged USD99.92 by Lush Illumination for the USD 5.95 trial offer. Worse than that I was also charged by Deadseakit.com USD89.95 without any order. I called my credit card company, they recommended me to cancel my credit card because Deadseakit.com deducted another 69.95 from my account without my acknowledgment & permission. These 2 companies are related. They both are BIG SCAM!.
