Home Warranty Services reviews and complaints
Send the check that you've stated you've already sent but miraculously still hasn't arrived
My mother who was on disability and has dementia was talked into signing up for their warranty service without my authorization. Yes I have all the legal docs. That's fine I'm not even mad about that cuz I know how these places work. My complaint is they continued to deduct from her account even though she had died and they were notified of the death. I had to close her account in order to stop the payments. When I asked for a refund for only one month, yes only one month even though they took more, I was assured that a refund check would be in the mail. Well as you can imagine 5 months later still no check and still the runaround every time I call.
Claimed loss: Approx 300.00

Well three phone calls later still not a thing accomplished and three times I was told a supervisor or someone would call me back within 30 minutes and guess what not one effing call back stay away from these clowns
Home Warranty Services/EFG Home Services LLC contract
After my 96 year-old mother (Bernice Brenner) passed away on 10/17/23 I have been going through her finances and canceling her credit cards. I contacted Sears today that she had a MasterCard through and discovered that she has been paying this company since June for a warranty on (possibly?) an automobile disposed of many years ago. A company called Mepco out of Chicago, IL facilitates their payments and she has been paying 234.22 per month. As I canceled the credit card today, no additional automatic debit payments will be issued but I am trying to get her money back for fraudulent services. Her contract number is: [protected] and the phone numbers that are listed for the company are: [protected] and [protected].
Her address was:
6916 Avenue T

What you've gone through with Home Warranty Services is truly appalling. They continued to take money from your mother's account even after her passing, despite being notified. This is not just a mistake; it’s a complete disregard for decency and respect. You’ve been more than patient, asking for just a single month’s refund out of many, and yet they've given you nothing but the runaround for five months. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Keep demanding your rightful refund and make sure your story is heard. Companies need to understand they can’t treat people this way, especially under such sensitive circumstances. Stay strong and don’t let them off the hook until they make it right.
Thank you and still nothing these people are less than garbage
