EVision Evision not working

Hi. The Evision service in my house is not working since 1 st Oct 2012. My complaint no is 2420314. Despite numerous calls to 101, no technician has either called or come to fix the problem.
It is sad to see this state of affairs in Etisalat.

It is high time that Etisalat got their act together.

Would appreciate someone in Etisalat to respond to this.

EVision EVision not working for past 7 days

I have heard about the service levels of Etisalat's E-Vision.And now i agree that evison service of etisalat is not upto the mark.I had a connection of evision three months back.Everything was fine.For the past 1 week i am unable to view the channels.As soon as i switch on my TV set, a message pops up stating"A problem in the signal reception does not allow your set top box to work properly.Please call customer care at 101".

I spoke to customer care executive.They said me someone from technical department will call and fix the problem.I did not received any call.Then again i called customer care.This time i got an answer that they need to change signal wire which is out of stock and they themselves are not sure when they will get the stock but assured me that this will be done the very next day.

After waiting for two days, nobody from Etisalat team has even contacted me.And now when i again spoke to them they said that i will be done but by when they dont have any idea.

My question is if a person who is new in dubai wants an evision connection gets it within 2-3 working days but when it comes to service level nobody is even bothered.It can happen if it is a small city but in dubai it is indigestible.

I am really sick and tired of calling customer care again and again.

I agree all the above comments, these 101 and their technicians and thier service is absolutely useless and unfit to fast moving uae

E Vision Etisalat has to improve in their service. Very bad record.

I fully agree with all the above comments. Last month I did not have signal for 7 days, It started before Eid about which a complain was launched with repeated reminders to sort the issue. Finally I realized the callous, unethical attitude of Technical staff. No matter what priority you are on the service would be restored only at their mercy. If the complains persist, longer it takes to get the issue sorted. Managers seem very lax and careless or else after several complains they would pull up the errant "Technical staff" and take them to task.
Why was I charged full amount, when I did not have 7 days of viewing, which caused frustration during Eid holidays, (when at home viewers enjoy watching TV, that is the cheapest source of entertainment).
Hope higher authority finds time to takes note of this menace and take serious action, and rectify the situation.

I have been waiting for non existent evision signal for 3 days. It takes nearly an hour to maka a connection to their techincal department and you get a parrot fashined repated lines of, "it will take 24 to 48 hours". How incompinetent and unprofessional.
But when it comes to money, it is upfront an urgent.

I strongly agree with the above comments and the worst service available in UAE is E-vision. My advice to all people looking for new channel connection to if you have options to get other competators service go for it.

Is doubt is there is any complain department or higher management who responds to greivness of customers. In my view E-vision is unorganized and only 101 is working and I feel there is no technical department in this company.

Today 02/01/2010 I have cancelled my connection and relaxing at home without E-vsion setup box at home.

Pray god to terminate all the people from technical department and reorganize the department with qualified peoples as it is easily available in the market due to recession.

I am a new E-vision customer at Dubai Silicon Oasis Palace Towers. I am strongly convinced that they have a very bad service to offer.

When I applied I was informed that it will take 2 weeks to activate as it was a fiber connection. 2 weeks is already too long what technology are they using.

I called after 2 weeks as nobody called or update me. When I reach the call center, I was informed that the receiver was out of stock.

1 week after the technician came and setup the connection and I was again informed 24 hours to activate the line.

After 3 days still no connection. I check the smart card and found the it was inserted incorrectly.

I called the call center again and I was informed that there was no signal receive from my receiver offcourse the technician's mistake. Again I was informed 24 hours activate.

2 days again still no connection. I call the call center and have my connection requested attend the same day at it is already taking 1 month. The same day it got connected finally.

After 2 days it got disconnected. I call again and I was informed that within 30min it will be reactivated.

Called 2 and half hours later can't reach the call center, all agents are busy.

I finaly got the agent online informed me it will be reactivate today, I hope this would be my last call to them.
