Emerson Publishing, Inc. sweepstakes promotions

Buyer beware! This company is asking $5.00 for "document research & data processing." they do not distribute any money, nor do they have a sweepstake. What they provide is a list of sweepstakes that you can enter. Unfortunately, they are a legitimate business (albeit, a bad one!). Do not send money! One of their principals is even an attorney. Their bbb rating is "f". They have had numerous bbb and tx attorney general's complaints, but since they are providing you a product (eg, a list of sweeps to enter), they are within the law! I consider this a scam, but tx law does not.

Emerson Publishing, Inc. unethical behaviour/scam

I have been sent a form to sign-saying I have won $12, 000, 000, but I need to send them $5.00 processing and data fee..00 and they ask me to send them $5.00 as a process fee. I looked them up and found information of a previous "supposedly" winner. He says he was scammed, he sent $5.00, as I have been told to do, then he was asked for more $11.00, after wards, man claims he was asked up to $70.00. So I can imagine each time you want to claim said money won, each time this publishing company will keep on asking for more "Research and Data Processing fees"
