City of Hialeah Water & Sewer Department reviews and complaints

I called to the company City of Hialeah Water & Sewer Department. I had past due and paid the necessary sum only today. When I called to this company and asked when they would switch water on, the agent told me that I needed to pay the bill at first. I told her that I did it today, but she told me that they hadn’t received my payment. I was surprised. I sent them copy of the bill, but no one replied and water wasn’t switched on. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

They charge me $450.00 to turn on my water as a new customer. After a year of always being paid on time, they told me i will get atleast $350.00 back & it will be credited to my account. Well its been a year later & ive always paid on time and i just got a bill & when i called to ask why, they said " oh, we stopped doing that about 2 years ago". When i first turned on my water, the lady told me that i will be credited & so did the guy i spoke to a couple weeks ago. All they want is money. Where does my deposit go? They are taking advantage of people.
