In early October, I placed a service request about my gas hearing unit. After the company's local repair contractor came and checked out the equipment, he placed an order for a part that needs to be purchased. when I checked a couple at the end of October, I was told the the part is on its way. In mid November, I was told that the order was cancelled...

Cinch Home Warranty Air conditioning unit

My A/C went out end of June and the company could not find anyone to repair it and I was told to get my own contractor. The contractor called with the replacement cost of $4600 ($3400-outdoor unit, $400 evaporator, $800 labor) and was authorized for $4600. Submitted first invoice 6/29/21, then 7/29/21, 8/9/21, 11/3/21 and 11/16/21. They will only pay $3200 of the $4600 claiming that the unit would only cost them $1722 however they could NOT find a technician to come out and so they told me to get my own technician which I did. The technician would only come out on the condition that I pay him first as all technicians that I called would NOT work directly for Cinch as they have not been reimbursed in the past. The contract says they will replace the unit and cover the cost which they are not doing. Not once did they say they would send the unit for which they would pay for and have my technician install. The email for the legal department is legal@cinchhs.com

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: Full reimbursement per the contract
