I was checking my credit report on Credit Karma, and saw them listed in my credit report despite not even knowing who they are. I tried filing a dispute with Equifax in the credit karma app, but apparently some of my information I had to give them to verify I'm really me was wrong. Most likely due to the information I was trying to dispute. Not sure why the computer thinks just because it has my information it thinks it MUST be correct, but I digress.

The issue is, I have no idea who this company is, or how they got my information, but they claim I owe them over $1, 000 for a loan I have NO knowledge of taking out. I live with my parents still, and pay for everything with my personal debit card. On the RARE occasion I make a purchase I can not afford, I put it on my credit card, issued through my bank, and pay it off right away, or as soon as I am able to.

I do not know how they got my information, but it, along with other invalid information, is ruining my credit score, which a few months ago was in the mid 700's, now is down in the low 500's, and anytime I try getting ahold of someone I'm assured it's going to be taken care of, but then never is. It honestly makes me wonder if these scammers actually work for the same people you have to file to get these errors removed from, since nothing ever gets done about it.

I had to work out a hospital bill with them. At the time they worked out an affordable payment plan. I completed the payments in November 2016. Then I received a bill in the mail for 4000.00 dated February 7, 2017. I contacted the company, they looked in to it. What they found was that some where or some how because the last name or something else with my personal data there was an assumption that we were related. Which is so definitely not the case. The person I spoke with for the most part gave me the impression it is not uncommon for this type of mistake to occur. When questioned since I had to give my right arm in information just to speak with this woman every time I called, she still implied it was common. This is not an acceptable way to treat people. At least I don't have any delinquent medical bills.

Why if the company wants you to pay them for your defalted bills are they so rude on the telephone? Not answering any of your questions and asking a hundread or two of their own seems to be their way of doing business. If they would treat each of their calls with a bit more respect perhaps they would get a bit further on their collections. Just an observation.
