Amazon.com AMAZON IS A MESS

AMAZON IS A MESS... My son 5th bday is the 23 I began ordering his decorations from AMAZON the end of May and the 1st week In June and half the stuff I order didn't come and won't be delivered until July but it didn't say it was out of stock b4 i order it and some of the stuff I ordered didn't come they sent what they wanted to send than gone tell me they can reorder it with my money THAN seed me a refund?WHAT so now I have to wait for my money back to purchase the items need...AMAZON MESSED UP MY BABY PARTY...

Amazon.com All of these reviews have hit home

All of these reviews have hit home. BBB please help us all. I ordered a beach bag back at the end of August. I should have seen a red flag when the seller withdrew the payment from my bank account before he supposedly sent a notice that the beach bag was forthcoming. The seller has since cut ties with Amazon I guess he took my money with him. I am a retired senior citizen. That beach bag was for my granddaughter for Christmas . I have even went so far as to send the 2 CEO's of Amazon emails ask for them to have their customer service give me a refund. I call customer service each and every week asking for my refund. I keep getting the same response my complaint is under review.

Amazon is a standup company unlike ***.Purchased two *** Nest WiFi routers from Amazon, one of them turned out to be defective but was outside of 30 day return policy.Tried contacting *** for warranty support, but ***'s representatives would refuse to issue a replacement. Wouldn't accept that there is anything wrong with the unit, and would refuse to escalate it so that I could speak to *** based support. Terrible, terrible company.I contacted Amazon, explained them the whole situation. Amazon was truly amazing, and just replaced the unit without any issues.I'm happy to continue using their services and will switch all of my home security, smart speakers, and the rest to Amazon services, away from ***.Shame on ***. Kudos Amazon.

Amazon.com I bought a item for $14.13 It was in my paid orders

I bought a item for $14.13 It was in my paid orders. When I went to use it they said the payment was declined. I was never told me this or I would of reordered it. I had the paid invoice and it was in my paid orders. I wasn't charged for it but they never told me even though they said they sent me a letter. So now the Nortons is $64.99 and all I was suppose to pay was $14.13 on a special. After chatting for 2 hours she said all they can do is give me a $10 gift card to put toward a new one. They never did. They sent me a invoice saying I have to pay this or they will cancel the order. This letter was suppose to be sent to me 6/23 and never was. I'm so upset with their lies. I'm a senior and was very happy with the special now they won't honor it for that price.

wanted to ask if amazon could match a discount offered by the local multi chain store ***, and after 5 different levels of customer service, I was told that Amazon would not be able to give up $36 in profits after receiving compelling information that a competitor would just to keep the customer happy. I think that the 1.5 hours spent talking to 4 levels of customer service cost the company more than $36. Anyways, I took my advantage of my benefits and had Amazon deliver my competitor's gift cards the very next day (for free!) with no value loss. In my world, Amazon would have been much better off providing the $36 break than paying approximately $30 of delivery charges to forfeit a $400 purchase. I don't have an MBA, but this case is quite clear. Dumb Customer

be ware: i used my amazon gift card balance to pay for roughly half of my purchase - when the transaction went through everything looked right - roughly half was on my credit card and the other half was from my gift card balance - BUT when i checked my credit card statement later i saw they had charged the full amount on the credit card (and they still used my gift card balance too) so i was double charged - i can't believe i am the only person this has happened to so look out - i only noticed because i thought the charge looked funny on my credit card (the 5 star review is because normally i love amazon - but i am just posting this as a warning in case anyone else has been double charged like this since it is hard to notice unless you check your credit card statement)

I find the Customer Review Rating here to be laughable at best. I'm not trying to discount the reviewers here, but obviously there are few positive reviews on here, and that is understandable. Most reviews here are from disgruntled customers that have had a bad experience. But... after 7 years and close to $20,000 worth of purchases on Amazon, I have to give them 5 stars. Are they perfect? No. No one and nothing is ever perfect. What few issues I have had was dealt with by Amazon to my satisfaction, although sometimes one gets a resistive customer service agent that needs some logic handed to them. Amazon has on most occasions exceeded my expectations when is comes to problem solving. Even the BBB gives them an A- . Note: if you make many Amazon purchases, have customer service phone number programmed into your phone, it will save time and nerves when issues do occur.

Amazon.com Buyer beware

Buyer beware. Amazon advertises on many items free shipping and returns. Free returns according to Amazon means free shipping label only. The only time your shipping is free is if there is something wrong with the purchase you made. Changing your mind or not wanting the item will not give you a full refund, you will be charged a restocking fee which is never disclosed. So the amount of your return is significantly lower than you expected to be. When you try to talk to someone at Amazon even if they are here in *** you get a royal run around and made to feel like you did something wrong by making a purchase and then not needing or wanting the item. To me this appears to be bait and switch or certainly unethical. It's no wonder that Amazon got as big as they did because they are basically ripping off the public in small amounts because of the return fees / restocking fees are beyond ridiculous.

Amazon.com I have been a satisified amazon customer for many years now

I have been a satisified amazon customer for many years now. I have been pleased with most purchases and I've had no issues returning items when I was not pleased with them. In fact, my most recent return (pre-COVID) had me drop off the item at Kohl's for free return shipping. Highly convenient. A few months ago an item never arrived, when I contacted amazon they sent a replacement and upgraded it to two day shipping. I have not invested in a prime membership (yet), but one of my sisters and my sister-in-law both belong and love it. I actually am looking to purchase a specific item that is carried by a different online merchant and was surprised by how low merchant 2's BBB rating was. I realized that most people who come to the BBB have problems and thought I'd check amazon's rating for comparison purposes since amazon has always treated me well. I am surprised by how many people have been dissatisfied with amazon and want to express how happy I have been with their services.

As often as the BBB might be used as a platform for complaints, I believe it is also important to acknowledge quality service. I am Veteran. Honorably discharged for injuries sustained. I understand gratitude fairly well. Humility too. Amazon has earned my gratitude. My experience with Amazon's customer support has been mostly exceptional. I have, thus far, recieved excellent resolutions with all of my issues to date. So I thank you for that. Very much! Keep up the good work!I wish Amazon would implement some sort of a program for injured military personnel. Perhaps discounted memberships or special days of recognition that discount healthy and supportive products? Some Veterans are not well to do and could really use some additional kindnesses and supoort. I am sure Amazon has some amazing, bright minds, that could come up with something "Amazoning"?! ? I have no doubt about that. ?. Good spirit and generosity may go a long way. I do my best to pay forward which has kindly been gifted to me. What goes around, comes around.So I will conclude this by saying thank you. I am grateful and humbled by the excellent customer support that *** has provided me. It is the best that I have had from any online company othus far. Thank you! Be well, safe, healthy and happy! Can I have an "Ooorah"? Oorah! ?

On November 22nd I ordered two autistic books want to learn one easy to learn sign language and another one for fun activities I ordered two Jubilee high chair folding chairs one in pink and one until and I canceled those orders Amazon still charged me and they refunded me for the pink one for *** for but I haven't received the other two one would be for $47.40 and the other one would be for *** from the chat conversation stating that they did charge it and they did take the money out and that I should be receiving it by the 6th on the 6th I called back and they're saying oh you should receive it within *** I was never charged but yet these other people told me I've been charged and that I should be receiving it and they see it on the thing where it's charged so I don't understand so now I've been going back and forth with them and they say the same thing some say they was charged some say it wasn't it's been more than four or five days that they were supposed to get back ahold of me and still nothing from them like they're just ignoring me now so yeah I don't know about Amazon I should have never messed with them I don't know I need help

Amazon.com I am writing this review from first-hand experience

I am writing this review from first-hand experience. I was being meted out with the worst treatment possible by Amazon.ae (an Amazon affiliate, previously known as ***), one of the worst customer service experiences of my entire life! I thought I had seen it all till I placed a cancellation request for a laptop order (early morning, Sept.2), just two hours after purchasing it - so that the team were informed well in advance. I also followed up with their call center as soon as they opened in the morning and once again at 12 p.m. to confirm the cancellation and initiation of the refund process. Imagine my surprise when I received an email from them at 12.16 p.m., that the order is being shipped! This set into motion a chain of events - the worst customer service experience that one can possibly imagine! I was given all sorts of implausible excuses such as, ’the seller is not reachable’ - for almost a day (in a place like Dubai where phone and internet services are among the best in the world!), ’we are sorry, the order has entered the shipping phase’, ’you will have to refuse the order once it is delivered to you tomorrow (Sept. 3), but we cannot confirm the time’, ’we have informed our courier company, but the product will be delivered to you anyway’, etc., etc. I even had a customer service manager here call me from a U.K. number (with terrible call quality!), who kept saying that she couldn’t hear me and took nearly 10 minutes to note down the order number. She then committed to refund the purchase in two hours, which never happened! Extremely frustrating day, made worse by repetitive emails leading nowhere, absolutely zero action and a lack of accountability by the team. In spite of everything that I had communicated to them, nothing, absolutely nothing was having any sort of effect. I had lost all hope! As a last resort, I googled Jeff B’ contact details and got an email address. Depressed and dejected by the repeated unfruitful calls and the deaf ear that I was being intentionally subject to, I sent the email not in a million years expecting the world’s richest man to even bother reading communication from a stranger, also aware of the fact that his inbox would be chock full of philanthropy requests, business communication, correspondence from world leaders, etc., in keeping with his stature as the world’s only trillionaire. Why would he care? Guess what happened? He responded! Quick, firm and effective. His communication stated that he would take any action necessary to resolve the issue. Any action! That’s how much Jeff B loves his customers. So for all those with complaints about Amazon, who feel that they are being treated unjustly, keep in mind that the ethics of this organization’s senior-most management can and should be emulated by other Fortune 500 companies. Jeff B has redefined customer care! Unprecedented. Most importantly, he has not forgotten his company’s most valuable asset - the customer! He could have easily turned a blind eye, engaged in his ultra-rich lifestyle and luxuries. But he did not! I would advise all customers with similar complaints to convey them to him and know that your issue will be looked into and resolved. To the best of your satisfaction. What a Legend! I am inspired and so is the world! Thank you, Sir. I am and will remain, forever indebted. With sincere gratitude -
