This site is absolutely disgusting. The mods permit the vilest defamation of character(my spouse of 14 years was accused of extremely grave criminal charges with zero evidence by a lady he never even heard of) to go on for months without taking action. False accusations of plagiarism remain totally unpunished and ignored. There are arbitrary bans the moment you dare to defend yourself against baseless lies and accusations. There is a convicted child sex offender (Aaron M Ehrhart of Decatur, IL) permitted to contact teenage girls and flirt with women freely.

A member of my family is running for an MP seat two weeks from now(while a certain Ms Amy Donahue of Syracuse, NY is still accusing my husband of crimes that carry a 10 year jail sentence in Queensland on their forums.

End their smear campaigns against people who have contributed to AP community, hosted contests, wrote book reviews, nominated poets for front page selections, collaborated on joint publishing projects, supported Kevin's publishing projects and paid his own bills for months.

Had similar experiences? Gave of your time freely and received nothing but harassment, defamation vendettas and arbitrary bans in return?

Ethics: the teacher does not consider my monorhymes and has a negative do attitude. The owner supports the teacher. There is no friendly attitude on the part of the teacher or the owner. The course "Course: More Fun with Rhyme" IS NOT FUN! The assignment isn't accepted for the unknown reasons: bias and discrimination! the repetition of the same consonants and vowels are not considered by the teacher monorhymes but ... I was banned from the course... for nothing!

About a year ago, I was running a contest on this site. One member did not like that her poem wasn't chosen as a winner and she verbally attacked me by cursing me out. I contacted the owner of the site, told them I felt bullied by this person, and they just brushed it off. Claiming it was alright for them to do so and that this wasn't a form of bullying. That's news to me. Cause on another site, I witnessed this happen to someone else, and right away the owner of the site shut down the boards and warned those who were cursing other out. I rarely go on this site anymore cause of this and I am telling everyone I know not to post to them because they do not care about the writers. I was just on a site right now cause I had to look for an old poem I wrote and saw that STILL nothing was ever done for what was done for me. In fact, they're asking me for money to keep up a gold membership they gave me for my birthday for free. Like I would actually pay a sent for a site that condones bullying. I would just like to see something be done so no onw has to go through what I did.

The owner of the website recently did an upgrade that changed the site. Users lost a lot of things that were enjoyed on the old site and more and more bugs keep popping up with the new upgraded site. Many people have complained about the upgrade and have even threatened to leave. We have even contacted the owner of the site. He has chosen to ignore our complaints and it would seem that he doesn't really care how the majority of the site feels about the upgrade or what happens to the site. He also refuses to give any refunds to paying users who would like to leave prior to their full month of membership being up becuase of the upgrade. AllPoetry used to be a wonderful site that I recommenced to many people who wished to publish their literary works online and have fun in the process, but now I recommend staying away from the site and leaving the site if you already use it.
