Cancelled waste&recycle pickup service on 10/28/22 after receiving latest invoice with yet another price increase. Service end date 11/5/22. Was told to disregard invoice, would receive new. Revoked authorization to auto-debit my checking account same day, 10/28/22, on Republic account website. On 11/15/22, found that my account was ACH-debited in full amount of original invoice. Took three days and numerous phone calls to get money refunded into my account. Finally received new invoice; upon review, found that "fuel/environmental recovery fee" was not proportionally credit but left in full amount for whole quarter. Called Republic's customer service four times to have invoice amended, was told every time that a supervisor would call me back. Was never contacted by any supervisor. I will not wait any longer or call Republic customer service again; I have sent letter with check in correct amount to cover one week of service. Have not received any response from Republic Services.
