I recently made a purchase from ReptilesNCritters and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. I decided to buy a few gaboon caecilians from Robert and paid extra for the fastest shipping option. I have had caecilians as pets for years and I housed these new ones in the same way I have always done. However, to my dismay, all of the caecilians I received from ReptilesNCritters ended up dying.

When I reached out to Robert about the issue, he offered me a discount if I bought even more animals from him. I found this to be quite ridiculous, especially considering the fact that the animals I received were clearly not healthy. I suspect that they were likely imported and not properly acclimated to their new environment.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with ReptilesNCritters. I would not recommend purchasing animals from them, as my experience was quite negative. It's important to do your research and find a reputable seller when it comes to buying pets, and unfortunately, ReptilesNCritters did not meet my expectations.

I recently ordered a pair of River toads from ReptilesNCritters and I was thrilled to find out that they had them in stock. Not many places carry these toads, so I was relieved to find a reliable source. After placing my order, I received an email confirmation and a tracking number shortly after. The toads arrived on time and were packaged properly to ensure their safety during transit. I was worried about the cold temperatures at night in Massachusetts, but the toads were equipped with a hand warmer to keep them warm and cozy.

When I received the toads, I gave them a thorough check-over and was happy to find that they were healthy and free of any visible issues. After a good soak in warm dechlorinated water, I introduced them to their new habitat. To my delight, they ate on the first night they arrived. It has now been three weeks since I received them, and they are doing very well and are very active.

Overall, I was very happy with my order from ReptilesNCritters. I had read some negative reviews online, so I was a bit hesitant to place my order. However, everything went smoothly, and I decided to write a review to share my positive experience. Shipping live animals can be a challenging task, but ReptilesNCritters did an excellent job of ensuring that my toads arrived safely.

One thing to note is that there were no labels to indicate which toad was male or female. However, with River toads, it is easy to tell the difference, so this was not a major issue for me. If I need to order live animals in the future, I will definitely consider ReptilesNCritters again. It is important to keep in mind the distance between the shipping location and your location, as well as the temperature difference during transit. Overall, I highly recommend ReptilesNCritters for anyone looking to purchase live animals.
