Energy Solution is a great place to get your solar panels/battery back up. *** work with me to get the best package deal (carport,solar panels and *** Walls) at the best price. Calli did a outstanding job at going over all the stages (plans,permits and working with our electric provider) Dominion Energy is not the easiest to work with,except when all inspections were completed their solar side came the next day and installed the two meters. I had my solar system powering my house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is thinking about going solar, if I had it to do again I think I would go with a larger system,but with that being said I'm very happy with what I have now.

I was excited by the opportunity to get solar installed at our home. Unfortunately the promises of eliminating 90% of our energy bill did not materialize. We did everything we were asked to do, including cutting down trees by our home. They did honor the shortfall the first year by issuing a check as promised in the contract. They also promised to "make good" as they said "when we originally proposed your solution, we misjudged the pitch of your roof. They came and took more pictures after an extended delay, but still no response.I was hopeful when installed, but am extremely disappointed with the customer service post-installation and the promises of making it right, which have not yet materialized...in two years.

I used Renu Energy Solutions to design and install my home solar system. They were recommended as one of three choices by my utility (Duke) and their ratings online were very good, so I selected ***.They were timely, professional, and very clear and helpful in their explanations all through the process. They were especially helpful in helping me navigate the *** approval process in my neighborhood. This was a difficult and time-consuming step, but I felt *** had my back all the way. Their advice and support were instrumental in obtaining final approval.The system has been operational for over 7 months now, and is delivering as promised/designed (even a little more than promised!).I would recommend *** to anyone who is considering a solar project at their home!

I used *** for my solar installation. To this point the experience has been superb. I weighed offers from 4 companies recommended by my utility. All had good offers. Even though the *** proposal was the highest, it included things that I wanted such as battery backup and auto switching on power failure. While all of the vendor reps I spoke with had good knowledge, it appeared the *** rep had the most insight. For instance, the *** rep made a suggestion to install the panels on my south facing barn roof instead of my home. That was an outstanding suggestion because it allowed all 32 panels to be installed facing the southern sky without having them on the roof of my home. This also allowed for less regulations as to how they could be installed because they were not over living quarters.

Last month we completed the install of solar panels on our new house. We started the process of solar with a larger nationwide company, but after talking with the *** sales rep, we canceled that contract and have had no regrets. Not only were they more affordable, but they were informative, educating us that not every solar panel and solar panel set-up is created equal. After a little online research, we were able to quickly verify that the panels, converters, etc that *** was offering were top of the line. Whereas the other company... let's just say I had difficulty finding any information on the "off-brand" panels they said they'd be installing. Communication throughout the entire process was prompt, professional, and courteous. We just got our first billing statement after the install, and we produced more energy than we used! I can't tell you how good that feels.

I cannot begin to tell you how completely and utterly pleased I am with my experience with Renu Energy Solutions. Going solar with Renu has been one of the best, if not THE BEST customer service experiences of my life. Starting with the sales rep, Susan W, all the way through every single member of the team, all of my interactions were a delight. The installation team showed up on time and got right to work, were pleasant, friendly and polite, got their work done and left with no evidence that they had been here other than the solar panels on my roof. Susan, Rachel and Holly kept the ball moving smoothly and efficiently through the whole process and kept me informed every step of the way. Really it was like clockwork. I'm frankly astounded at the degree of customer care and service I received from Renu and the professionalism of every member of the team. I am a VERY HAPPY customer. Great job, Renu!

Very impressed with the overall efficiency of this Company. Their initial quotation was not only very competitive but was delivered far quicker and in more detail than any of the other competing companies. The installation was completed well within the quoted time by a very pleasant and efficient crew who did their utmost to complete the job with minimum disturbance to the surroundings.All along, Renu's 'customer service support team kept me fully updated and were instrumental in creating the necessary documentation and in driving progress with Duke Power and the County in order to facilitate a prompt turn on. The system is now operational and operating as promised and verified through a convenient App which details all of the output data. The only negative in the whole process was Duke who seemed to drag their feet in a exchanging the required equipment. I have no hesitation on recommending or using Renu in future.

Almost 2 years ago *** installed my 12kw solar system with two Tesla powerwalls. They made the process very easy. A professional consultant showed me different layout options and sized the system according to my past and future energy needs. The batteries are charged every day and the system still puts energy back into the grid, resulting in a below zero dollar electric bill from the electric company. What makes me the happiest is the battery backup power so I dont have power outages. Most recently hurricane *** came through and knocked out power to my neighbors for over a day. I invited some of them over for coffee and to recharge their phones. Overall Im very pleased with the whole process with ***, from consultation, to installation, and service. Truly a wonderful team and it shows that they care about their work. I recommend getting a quote from *** when shopping around, but know that they are not the least expensive of the options, but also not the most expensive. Its been more than worth every *** with them.

We were going back forth about the idea of solar panels. Then we received our highest electricity bill we had ever had ( During the same month our kids were gone on summer vacation to Florida with my Mother! )We then got a quote from Renu and the process was amazing! We received a surprisingly affordable quote and quickly agreed to purchase the panels. We had roughly 45 panels installed on our house and I can't brag enough about the professionalism of the team as a whole! The installation crew that was sent out were friendly and courteous. My only request when they came was that my flower beds around my house were not destroyed and the installers were more than willing to abide. They were very hard-working and dedicated to the job, especially in the 100+ heat index weather they were in! The installation was completed in 2 days and our yard was left in excellent condition from the installation crew! I would highly recommend Renu to anyone looking into Solar energy! I chose to investigate solar because my wife and I are considering a full-time retirement in the foreseeable future. We wanted to research all expenses we are currently incurring, and research how to eliminate or drastically reduce them. We had several solar companies come in and tell me why they had the best program/product for my money. I narrowed my prospect list down to two companies. Both offering different manufacturers, but equivalent quality. Pricing from both of these companies were very close and competitive. The final decision for choosing Renu besides the knowledge Bill brought to the table, was the offering of a solar system that produces 25kw per hour vs the competition offering a max of 20kw per hour. So even on overcast days, I am still pulling 5,000kw per hour more when the energy product starts to slow down. Now that the crew has completed my installation, I can promote Renu as a 5star*** company from presentation, communication, and application. I am sure I will follow up this review with a 5 star review with performance as soon as the inspections are complete and I can power it up. Ken Kirk

The decision to go solar is not an easy one. It is a large investment, and the project involves equipment and technology with which few of us are familiar. What attracted my wife and me to Renu is the fact that they seem fully aware of just how daunting the decision to go solar can be for the average family. At every stage of the process, they supply copious, detailed information in a manner that is accessible and easily understood. During the initial quoting process, I asked for a month-by-month breakdown of how much power their proposed installation would supply, which made it easier for me to compute the financial benefits that the solar system would provide. Justin, our Energy Storage Specialist, quickly provided me with the information I requested and patiently answered some follow-up questions that I had. Once we decided to go with the proposal, Calli, our Solar Project Coordinator, stayed in touch with us every step of the way, providing information about next steps along with projected time frames. The installation crew that installed our system was friendly, professional and efficient. It gladdened my heart to see how excited they were about the array that they were installing. They clearly take tremendous pride in their work. Now that our system is up and running, I have already had the opportunity to request support from Renu's Service Department, and they were as quickly responsive as every other department has been. We cannot imagine a friendlier, more professional, more knowledgeable solar company than Renu!

I had always been interested in getting solar panels for my home, but have always put it off. A few months ago I had a solar company's salesmen come by my house to see if we were interested so I listened to their pitch and they were pressuring me to sign a contract that day. I told them I would like to meet with some other companies first to get additional quotes. I ended up contacting 7 other local/regional installers to get additional quotes. After meeting with all of the various companies *** stood out because of their comparable warranties/support of the large ***, but are based nearby my home. They were also very honest and patient with my many questions. The consultant that I worked with was Nich and he did a good job of keeping in touch with me while I was getting all of my other quotes without pressuring me to sign with ***. *** helped design a few different layouts for my home and helped me decide what would be the most production for the dollar. In the end *** ended up being one of my cheapest quotes thanks to them recommending less efficient panels (320W vs 375w) since I had ample roof space for the additional panels. Their quote was actually half the price of the quote I received from the company that came to my door originally. The installers who came out and installed the system were very friendly and professional. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Overall they were great to work with and I'm happy that I decided to go through with the installation. I would highly recommend *** if you are within their service area.

installed a *** kw whole home system.Conversation started with ***, the sales guy, who was exceptionally knowledgeable and explained everything quite well. I honestly was thinking this sounded WAY too easy, and assumed there would be some "glitches" along the way.He explained the process, tax incentives, size of system needed, etc.Signed the paperwork, and started the process in November .Transitioned to Calli H;, the project coordinator. Again, very knowledgeable and answered every one of my questions.They pulled permits, coordinated everything with Duke Energy, and was notified that they team would be out to install my structure. I did not have the panels installed on the roof, but a stand-alone structure that I can park machinery under.Structure was very well made, over-engineered to be sure (just the way I liked it).Two days later the solar install team arrived, and trenched, installed panels and wired everything in a couple of days. I was amazed how well each of the team worked so well together.Once all installed, Duke and the County inspected and was approved first pass.I had to submit some paperwork to Duke Energy several times via online, as Duke's system uses a DocuSign knock-off, and not as good (not a *** issue).Once Duke received the documentation, they said the system was good to go! Called Calli, as I wanted to test the system quickly.She walked me through the turn on procedure (basically an on/off switch) Duh...System came right up and started producing power!Thus far - no warranty calls, just much smaller electric bills.For our house (*** sqft) with two large HVAC systems, a well, etc. our electric bill is MUCH smaller I am immensely happy!

While our "solar" power is not yet activated, I have no doubt that it will be as good as or better than they have advertised. The people skills at Renu are second to none. My initial contact was with Jeremy P SC Sales Manager, who answered questions I didn't know I had. Important questions. Then the infectious, enthusiasm of Holly B, Customer Advocate immediately followed up with a welcome phone call. Can you imagine? Already, two person to person contacts, not just emails or texts. I was already impressed. Enter the delightful attitude of Rachel G, Solar Project Coordinator and my main contact in their office. Joining the Solar generation is a big deal and coordinating efforts with an electric company can get confusing. Rachel made it work. No bother. No angst. Just "here's what we're going to do next". It's a pleasure to see her name pop up on my many daily emails. Today the installation team came. We now have space age panels on our roof. Having lots of much needed work done on our house recently, we have gotten to see good teams of workers as well as other teams of workers. This crew, led by Daniel was extraordinary. They all knew what to do, when and how to do it. A model of efficiency and professionalism. They even spoke to me. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted to take on this project. I'm "old school". I did my research, and was approached by at least 6 other companies in the last 4 months. One said I didn't use enough electricity to make it worth their time. When I suggested I wasn't sure I was ready for a commitment like this, one salesman actually told me "I was making a wise decision not to sign with them". Renu is different. They may specialize in the solar energy solutions business, but their employees are in the people business. Refreshing! For an old school couple.

I was very impressed! Renu Energy is a company that I would recommend to anyone. I called Duke Energy and they referred me to two companies. My husband and I contacted both companies and Jeremy from Renu Energy was the first person that called us back. Jeremy was very accommodating, patient, and professional. He gave my husband and I a very detailed presentation. He took his time to explain how solar panels work as I did not understand the functionality of them, I just saw homes around us with them. After the presentation and answering our questions, he told us he can look at our energy bill to see if the panels would benefit us. I loved the fact that he was not just trying to sell us something to get a sale, but he wanted to make sure it would be beneficial. Jeremy was able to design the system that would save us money, receive money not only on our taxes but also through Duke Energy rebate. Whereas other companies would not submit paperwork for us to get the rebate from Duke Energy, Renu will do this on our behalf. He made the process easy and seamless and with no upfront out of pocket cost to do the install, it was a no brainer for us to proceed with the purchase. Renu employees are wonderful with great customer service skills. Callie and Hollie kept us abreast every step of the way on the installation process. Elijah the supervising installer, Dillon the electrician and several other awesome workers came and installed the panels and completed the electrical work in one day. They were very professional and neat with their work. They checked in with us when they completed their section. They made sure we knew how the equipment worked and to see if we had any additional questions. Everyone was and is SIMPLY AWESOME! My son and his wife heard a presentation from another company and after listening to the Renu's presentation, they compared the two and undoubtable, Renu came on top. They are now in the process of getting their panels installed by Renu Energy. If you want a reputable company that won't rip you off, that will be honest and upfront and who will give you the best product for your hard earned money not to mention the best customer service - Renu Energy is the company you need to call. They are the real deal for sure. You will not be sorry or disappointed.

I got a solar thingy put in by Renu Energy Solutions in June. But it stopped working on August 22nd. Now I gotta pay for electric from *** Electric AND for the solar thingy. Renu said they won't come fix it until September 29th. Not cool.

and I am still waiting for a resolution. The lack of communication and follow-through from *** solar is disappointing. I was excited to switch to solar energy, but this experience has been frustrating. I hope they can address the issue soon.

I got solar panels and controllers put in by Renu Energy Solutions, LLC. The workers took all the info that the maker gives with the gear. I asked for the data and tools that go with the hardware, but they won't give them to me. They know there's a problem, but they won't fix it. So now I don't know anything about the system, like how to put it together, keep it working, or fix it if it breaks. Seems like they could ask the suppliers for the missing stuff. I hope the businesses involved can give me the data. It would be great if someone who speaks English well could show me how to use this equipment.

Renu solld us a system that didn't meet our needs to go off the grid. They sold us a system that was underrated to make more money. We wanted to go off the grid gradually and get energy tax credits over time. We wanted to start with 50% offset and then get to 100% and install storage solutions. But they sold us panels that didn't produce as much, so we can't get to 100% without installing more panels on the ground, which costs more.

The solar ground mount system installation by Renu Energy Solutions, LLC was not up to par with the manufacturer's instructions. The ground mount array was set too far from the house and the sections were not aligned horizontally. The platform bases were not level and not square, and the legs were not plum. The solar panels were mishandled and potentially damaged. Renu offered to fix some of the issues for an additional cost, but did not take responsibility for their lack of professionalism and disregard for the approved design layout. They blamed the slope of the land, but this was known before installation began. The only responsibility I had was to clear an area of trees, which I did.
