QC Kinetix review: Procedure caused harm

I went to QC Kinetix on 10/22/24 with the complaint that I was experiencing pain in my left hip and lower back when I walked for an extended period – usually more than a mile. Also My left knee was making an occasional clicking/popping noise. A brief assessment was done by a procedure specialist and a treatment plan was put together. I was led to believe that these treatments had the potential to lessen the pain and improve the my situation. I agreed to start treatments on the left hip, left SI joint and left knee at a cost of $12500. I signed a contract and treatments started immediately.
The Plasma therapy (first visit) went fairly well with little discomfort. The second visit (Alpha 2 Macroglobulin) I had some mild discomfort from the injections but it went away after several hours. Visit number three (Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate) turned out to be extremely painful. After the treatment process I was hardly able to walk. It took me 20 minutes to be able to walk out to my vehicle. I had to sit in my vehicle for another 45 minutes before I was able to drive. From that point on I experienced severe pain and inflammation at all of the injection sites – the hip, back and knee. For several days I was not able to put any weight on my left leg, I ended up having to taking time off of work. At this point I was hardly able to walk more that 50 yards without being in pain. I followed the directions provided to me in the pamphlet that was given at the time I signed up for the therapy but got very little relief. At the time of the fourth visit (Platelet Rich Plasma) I was still very limited in my ability to walk and experiencing a lot of pain and inflammation. I explained this to the procedure specialist and she encouraged me to continue the process and consider some chiropractic or massage therapy. The injections from the fourth visit increased the pain and inflammation for several days. I tried reaching out to the procedure specialist but never got a response. At this point I decided to explore massage therapy and chiropractic to try to relieve some of the pain. After several visits it was determined that I needed x-rays to determine the problem. The x-rays revealed that my left hip had stage 4 advanced arthritis and was bone on bone. There is also advanced arthritis in the lower back. I was sent to an orthopedic doctor and it was determined that I needed a full hip replacement. On 8/11/25 I had a full hip replacement.
I fully understand that this was an experimental treatment, however no one mentioned that the treatments/injections could make things worse.
My complaints are - #1 That the injections created significant pain and inflammation. I was very disappointed that the procedure specialist (or anyone at QC kinetix) did not offer any solutions or attempt to diagnosis the cause of the pain and inflammation caused by the injections. I have tried to contact the procedure specialist multiple times but no response.
#2 There was an inadequate evaluation to determine if I was a good candidate for this therapy. A basic x-ray would have shown that this procedure was inappropriate for me. After being evaluated by a physical therapist, a chiropractor and two orthopedic surgeons, all stated that there was no possibility that regenerative therapy would have done anything to help the hip. Also no one was able to explain why there was a severe inflammatory response to the injections.

For me this has been a very long and painful experience – both physically and financially.
I have had a very bad experience and I am extremely disappointed with the service that I received. I would appreciate a full refund of the procedure costs.
