They charged me for things I never needed and when I called them up to ask for a refund, they refused to give me my money back. It was a total scam! I even talked to someone named JR from the north west office and he was a scammer too!

I was really disappointed with ProtectMyID and would not recommend them to anyone. They are not trustworthy and will take advantage of you. It's important to be careful when giving out your personal information online and to only trust reputable companies. ProtectMyID is not one of them.

I gotta say, I ain't too impressed with ProtectMyID. Had a bit of a run-in with them when they sent me a text in the middle of the night - like, who does that? Woke up the whole fam, and I was pretty ticked off. Tried to reach out to 'em about it, but they didn't even bother to respond to my email. And then today, when I tried to give 'em a call, their voicemail was full! Like, seriously? How am I supposed to trust these guys with my personal info if they can't even handle basic communication? I accidentally put in my hubby's social security number instead of mine (I mean, who hasn't made a mistake like that, right?) and they didn't catch it. They gave me his credit report instead of mine! They can't! So, I had to call Protectmyid.com and close my account so they wouldn't keep giving me my hubby's credit report. And get this, I told them twice that they were giving me the wrong report and they didn't do anything about it! That's just plain wrong. So, if you're thinking about using this service, I'd say don't bother. Instead, just pay the fee and lock your credit with each bureau. It's a pain, but at least you know it's done right.
