I have the ge profile washer and dryer and the seal seems to not be working. Water accumulates inside the door seal and I have to sop it up with a cloth after each load. The washer shuts off for no reason a lot with only a quarter of the cycle run. And many times the clothes are still wet after the the whole cycle runs through. The repairman said that we use too much detergent and it's throwing the spin cycle off. He said the manufacturer suggests using no more than 2 tablespoons of detergent for each cycle. I don't think that's the problem. I've cut back on using the detergent and it hasn't changed the issues that are going on. He's calling the manufacturer to see what can be done about the water accumulating in the seal. I hope this can be fixed. These appliances are not cheap.
