This person isn't claiming racism themselves. They very clearly state "TV NEWS REPORTS", although it would be helpful if they provided a link to these report(s).
While I am unfamiliar with Bethany and Families First, I fully believe that there could be some truth in the allegations that Georgia Mentor allowed abuse, neglect and sexual abuse of the children/clients in their care. Georgia Mentor is part of THE MENTOR NETWORK/NEURORESTORATIVE which has numerous group homes and facilities around the country. This corporation condones neglect, theft and sexual abuse of clients and consistently ignores complaints regarding such actions. They retaliate and attempt to imtimidate, manipulate and bully those that come forward to report such abuses.
The Mentor Network/Neurorestorative is currently embroiled in a $356 MILLION DOLLAR Sexual Abuse Law Suit at their Mentor Maryland facility for allegedly turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse of 7 boys under their care. Some of the reports have 3 boys, but more have come forward and the count is currently up to 8. Only time will tell if the count goes higher.

I worked for this corporation in Wisconsin and observed first hand how they operate. People from the sex/porn industry were regularly hired and placed in positions of authority. One man was hired from the 'outside' as a Supervisor. He was a friend of the Program Manager's son. He was also an actor in gay pornography who was allowed not only to smoke pot and watch porn at the facility, he was allowed to bring his gay lovers he 'met' over the internet to the group home. The fact that he got in an accident with a company vehicle WHILE HIGH and that he left the clients completely unattended while going off to have sex with his lover was covered up by the company. Staff that complained/reported it were told to 'keep their mouths shut', retaliated against and, in some cases, removed from the work schedule.
The Program Manager hired her best friend and made her a Supervisor as well. 2 weeks later, they hired the best friend's Uncle -- who also happened to be the Program Manager's neighbor. Immediately, there were concerns and allegations that this man was sexually abusing the clients. Numerous Staff reported numerous concerns. 2 clients reported him for "Being A Molester." THE COMPANY DID NOTHING. Instead, Staff was threatened, intimidated, and instructed "NOT to report" what they saw. Staff was removed from the schedule for continuing to report suspected sexual abuse. "If you are not here, you'll have nothing to see and report" is what was repeatedly said by Management. After allegations of suspected sexual abuse, the man in question was ALLOWED TO TAKE CLIENTS TO HIS HOME! These were called "One-on-One" outings. Staff was told "it was none of their business" this was happening.
The Program Manager hired her son's girlfriend. Prior to dating, the son and this girl were 'friends' and the girl was in a relationship with a known Child Molester. Despite knowing this man was a Child Molester, this girl continued relations with him and got pregnant. She was about 7 months pregnant when this man went to prison for 5 years for molesting children. Within a week she was dating AND living with the PM's son. They moved next door to the Program Manager. This particular girl wrote statements DEFENDING the suspected sexual abuser and his actions.
The ONLY statements that were taken into account for suspected sexual abuse of clients were from this girl who had knowingly been in a relationship with a child molester herself and from his niece (a Supervisor). They, of course, defended him. The rest of the Staff was called "Liars" and told 'they would not be listened to.'
THAT is how this company operates. I believe the poster's complaint.
