Oh my god! I wish I had looked at this complaint board before I placed my order! We should all sue them & I have never in my life done that! They pulled this same crap on me! It is a scam and I don't know how in the heck they are still in business! When I placed my order I was supposed to be contacted in 2-4 weeks with a scheduling date! Well when that didn't happen, I emailed and a Greg emailed me back (very shady how they don't even use last names, all professional, legit companies representatives have full names on their emails.) He told me they were running behind in my area and it would be 3-5 weeks before I was contacted. Of course I was not! So I emailed back and after over 6 weeks now he gives me a 1-800 number and tells me to ask for GA scheduling. Which I do (and have to wait on hold awhile.) I then talked with a Sarah, who transferred me to a Michelle, who transferred me back to Sarah, she said that she did not have my order. I told her I wanted a refund and she said she would contact Greg and call me back. She called me back but stated that when she tried to contact them all the representatives were busy! In the meantime she had magically found my order on email! WOW! I explained to her what a scam this was and she got rude and told me that she couldn't refund my deposit and I would have to contact the representative! I know they were the representative because I heard in the background another woman answering the phone carports.com. I take it to mean that they are all the same scamming company, carports.com and carport.com. I know it is just a deposit but I want my money back!
